"Kaya nga I am giving you a chance..." I told Aly as I held her hand tighter.

I admit, I am afraid. I am afraid that I am taking Aly's actions exaggeratedly, afraid that Aly just felt guilty that's why she's doing this, afraid that sooner or later she'll realized this isn't love she's feeling for me but pity.

Pero kahit hindi ako sigurado, kahit natatakot ako para sa sarili ko na baka masyado akong umasa't masaktan sa huli.

I took the risk.

Aly smiled, clearly her worries had faded by that phrase.

"Sabay kayo?" tanong ni Ella the very moment Aly and I stepped inside the gym and she saw us.

Tumingin ako kay Aly, at nakatingin din pala siya sakin. We're like talking by just looking at each other.

Yung tingin niya sakin parang nagsasabing, 'it's up to you, kung gusto mong sabihin..."

I bring my eyes back to Ella,

Ella has been there with me; from the time I fell in loved with Aly, cried because of Aly, die on jealousy knowing Aly is with 'other girl', and when I needed someone to confess my secrets. Ella was always beside me.

I guess she deserves to know...

"Yes, we are." I told her.

Her forehead creased.

"I'll tell you later, Besh." I patted her shoulder. I know she wants to know 'why' and 'what's with us'

"Com'on..." Aly invited as she takes my hand and we walked together to the bench to place our bags.

Kahit sa peripheral ko, kita ko yung pagpipigil ng ngiti ng mga teammates namin. Si Amy and Marge, who are sitting at the bench, parehong may nakakalokong ngiti.

"Akin na yang bag mo, Den, dito mo lagay." sabay kuha ni Ly ng bag ko at itinabi sa bag niya.

"May kukunin ka pa ba dito?" I shook my head na para bang hiyang hiya at the same time kinikilig.

"Akin na tali natin yang buhok mo. " sabi niya at kinuha yung ponytail sa braso ko. Umupo siya dun sa may bench, sa may mas mababang level kina Amy, at marahan akong pinaupo ng nakatalikod sa kanya.

Inumpisahan niya ng suklayin yung buhok ko para itali habang naririnig ko si Marge na nagcocomment.

"Yung langgam dito, mala-antik na sa laki... napakatamis kasi dito sa gym."

And though they aren't looking at us, everyone was like giving their side comments,

"Yung buhok ni Den, natatapakan mo, Mich!" - Jia while pretending pushing Mich

"Haba ng hair, nag rejoice ka ba girl...." - kanta ni Beadel at Bea Tan while dancing

"Yung asukal dito sa gym kaya na ata suplayan ang pangangailangan ng buong bansa! Katamis!" - Kim habang parang kilig na kilig

I was smiling broadly when my eyes landed on Ella. She's staring straight at me with... a sad eyes.

My smile slowly faded the longer I stare on Ella. What bothers you, Ells? Why are looking at me like that?

She then gave me weak smile.

"All done." sabi ni Aly and holds my shoulders.

Tumingin ako sa kanya patalikod at marahang ngumiti.
