Phil's POV
We went back to the theater, Dina let us in, Jesse and Tommy were talking, and I was sitting together with Ellie
"Are you okay Ellie?" I asked, having her face resting against my chest
She was silent and didn't answer, so I worried
I rested my chin on her head and whispered
"Can you please speak?"
"She was fucking pregnant-"
"Yes, she was"
"But I didn't want-"
"Ellie, I know you didn't want to. It's not your fault, it was an accident"
Then she raised her head and looked at me
"Thank you Phil"
"You're welcome"
After a few minutes, Jesse, Ellie, Tommy, and I were sitting on the stage and talking
"Do you think she will forgive me with this?" Tommy took out a gold necklace referring to Maria
"Is that real gold?" Jesse asked with a chuckle
"That's- Of course it's real gold!" Tommy replied laughing
I stood up and looked at Ellie
"I'm going to check if Dina is all right" I told her
"Okay" She replied and I kissed her forehead
Tommy saw everything, and was surprised
"Oooooohhhh we have a couple" He said playfully
"Well yes, they like each other" Jesse added trying to make fun of us a bit
"Ah fuck you guys" Ellie replied and we all burst out laughing
I went upstairs and entered the room where Dina was staying and found her lying in the couch, sweating.
"Hi, I brought you some food" I said placing the food and water on one side and sitting down next to her. She got up and sat down
"Dina listen, I don't want to spend my time fighting, you and Ellie are the only people I have left. You have become my family in a way" I told her and she said
"Phil, I'm sorry, for everything I said against you. You are a great guy, and Ellie knows that. I have not been as kind to you, I have always been jealous of your relationship with Ellie, I am so sorry"
I hugged her and said
"Thank you Dina"
I was about to get up when I heard a loud thump and screams
"Oh fuck" I ran out of the room and saw Jesse lying on the floor, with blood pouring out of his face
"JESSE NO FUCK!" I screamed
I ran and threw myself at a person pointing a gun at Ellie, I realized later that it was Abby
"Hey what the fuck!" I said to her as she pushed me away, giving Ellie time to escape
The two ran all over the theater and behind the stage curtains, I saw Tommy on the floor but at least he was okay, so I ran toward the curtains. I saw Abby and again I jumped on her to block her, but she kicked her leg and put down.
Dina came out with a machete and started to cut her, but Abby got off her and started to beat her, so I got up and kicked her back from behind, knocking her to the ground. I put the gun to her head and said
" Fuck, she's pregnant!"
"Good" She replied, then a child came in, holding a bow
"Abby come on, leave them alone" Said the child and Abby did as he said
"We'll see each other again, but next time you won't stay alive" She said and they left
After they left, I sat down on the stage, and Ellie ran toward me in despair
"PHIL! ARE YOU OK?" She asked
"I'd like to say yes, but my arm hurts, I think it's dislocated"
"Oh fuck-" She said
"Ellie, please, I need you to put my bone back in place" I asked her
"But I can't do it-" She replied
"Ellie, please, you just need to pull my arm and turn it a little"
She took my arm, pulled and put my bone back in place
"FUCKING ABBY!" I screamed for the pain
Tommy walked to us and asked me
"What happened?"
"Abby happened" I replied as I stood up
I approached Jesse
"Oh shit! Jesse!" I exclaimed
We set out for Jackson and stopped in Idaho
We were staying in an abandoned house, and Dina along with Ellie were in the kitchen. I was still in pain, I couldn't take it, and I started crying. At that moment Ellie came into the living room with a can of beans, and she sat down next to me
"How are you?" she asked
"Almost fine" I replied, wiping away my tears
"Here, eat" She said to me
"But I'm not hungry-" I said as she put the spoon in my mouth
"You always say that, please eat, you need to get well"
The next day we set out again for Jackson
