You walk into your house all tired and drained out from work, you are hit with a wave of the most comforting aroma of coffee and you instantly know he is already home. You enter the living room only to find his gaming consoles left haphazard on the rug where you two usually sit to play, you sit- mostly because it's his favourite past time. A game of your liking is paused on the screen as you move to your bedroom. You spot him there on the bed, his face is popping out from under the duvet where he is hugging your pup, both peacefully asleep. You assume he must be tired from his mega-presentation-meeting that afternoon. He looks soo adorable while he sleeps that you can't help but ruffle through his hair. You go back to the living room and turn off the game before grabbing yourself a coffee mug and returning to the bedroom to change out of your work outfit, only to find him awake and playing with your pup. You can't hide your smile as you place your mug next to his on the side table. "Get in bed!" He laughs while begin licked all over the face. "In a minute." you reply and head straight for the bathroom. When you return the room is empty and your coffee mugs are missing too. You walk through your house to spot him outside in the balcony, looking out at the glittering city view. You grab your mug from the coffee table and stand next to him, leaning on the railing. His hair is ruffled, his white tee is hanging loose over his shoulders with boxers below them. Your own fit matches his quiet enough considering you are wearing his black tee and shorts. He catches you staring at him and smiles your favourite smile before booping your nose. "This is exactly the future I wished for us, all those years back." He says. You nod with your lips curved up before linking your arms with his and leaning into him, clicking your mugs against eachother. The moment is soo beautiful that your smile breaks into a complete grin.
