"Yeah, Maria told me he stayed at Joel's house for the night" He said

'Was I to harsh with him? Shit I fucked up everything!' I thought

Then I put on my boots and headed to te stables with Jesse.

We arrived at the stables and Maria picked me apart

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" She asked

"Yeah" I replied

"I don't know what's going on with Joel and Phil but-"

"Maria" I said

"They really care about you" She continued

"We're fine" This time I lied

"Okay, sorry for pry. Be safe out there" She said

"Thanks" I replied

I saw Dina at the playground with some kids, but in that moment Jesse said

"Can you get your girlfriend over to the stables?"

"Jesus Christ- Dina?" I said

"Yeah, just a second!" She replied

In the meantime I was still thinking abut Phil and how could he have been feeling, then Dina walked up to me

"Hey, Jesse wants us to do the trails" I said

"He always wants me to do the trails" She replied then added

"Uhm- I'm sorry for yesterday night- I mean for the kiss, there were so many people"

"Don't worry, you were just drunk" I said

We then headed to the stables to get our horses and the we went out for patrol.

Phil's POV

We were running away from an horde of infects when we meet a girl, she said she was Abby

We were talking but then another horde appeared and she said she knew a safe place where there were her friends as well. So we followed her.

Ellie's POV

After clearing a zone there was a blizzard so we took refuge in what it was Eugene's hideout.

We sat on a couch and started talking, then Dina asked

"How would you rate it?"

"Rate what?" I replied not understanding

"Our last nights kiss" She continued

"Damn, are we really still talking about that?" I said

"I would rate it as a six" She said

"A six? Just a six?" I replied

"Yeah, there were so many people around"

"Yeah but a six?" I said

"Now I wanna know how you'd rate it" I added

"I don't think you do" She said

"Fuck, you make me want to go back into the blizzard!" I replied

"No one's stopping you from it"

"It's still better than been rated as a six" I said

After a few hours together, we heard some footsteps

"Ellie? Dina?"

"Jesse?" Dina asked

"Jesse stay there please"

Jesse came down the stairs as we were putting our clothes on and said

"Are you fucking with me or what?"

"Why did you cam here Jesse?" Dina asked

"Because Joel, Tommy and Phil didn't show up" He said

My heart petrified in that moment, and I couldn't stop thinking about Phil

"What do you mean Jesse?" I asked as my hands started to shake

"I waited for an hour, so I wen check for their horses but the I saw lights"

"Maybe they just came back in town" Dina chimed in

"Without being replaced? Impossible!" Jesse said

I then put my backpack on and asked

"How much of their region have you covered?"

"Not much" He replied

"Alright so I'll head East, You head North and Dina heads West" I said

So we went out to search them

Phil's POV

We reached the place Abby told us and we entered it, and went to the basement, where there were other people. Maybe they were Abby's "friends".

We greeted them and they asked our names so we told them, after that everyone was staring at Joel so he said

"You guys act like you heard of us or something"

"It's 'cause we have!" Abby said as she shot at Joel's leg with a shotgun, causing him to all on the ground

"HEY WHAT THE FUCK?" Tommy said as he got knocked down

"SON OF A BITCH!" I said as I put out my gun from its holster trying to shot Abby, but I got blocked down to the ground from some other people

She then got down to Joel and said

"Joel Miller?

"Who the fuck are you?" He replied

"Guess" She said

"Just say whatever speech you want and get this over with" Joel said while looking at her

"Stupid old man, you don't get to rush this" She said as she smacked Joel's head with a golf club, but after that I got knocked out cold
