By now tears brimmed in Anirudh's eyes and Chandrachur was rubbing palms in nervousness, droplets of sweat started trailing down to his temple.

"Do you have any proof Barrister Babu? Binitha died nine years ago, so will you bring her ghost to the court as witness...!" Anirudh's brows furrowed incredulously at his mood swings. Just a moment ago he was on the verge of fainting out of fear but now started laughing evilly in overconfidence.

"Proof!" He let out a small laugh "Dr. Samarth....please come"

The evil grin was nowhere to be seen in Chandrachur's countenance. He shallowed the lump formed in throat to see the person with Dr. Samarth.

"So here is the proof" He said pointing towards Samarth. "Dr. Samarth, friend of Binitha and Bondita. He was the one who told Binitha the truth of her father's death. He also told me everything and will testify in court as well and about Binitha's death'....Your Mama , Dr. Reshab Singh will do that. So...." He turned to Subodh and continued again "Dr. Reshab, will you tell the truth on your own or I have to......." Reshab nodded vigorously, wiping off the sweat bead he started.....

"I was very angry with those two girls when I had to drive my own nephew out of the village because of that Bondita. To take revenge, I created a fight between Arabindan and Binoy Babu, their business suffered a lot and Arabindan was blamed for that. finally Arabindan also left Tulsipur with his family. After a few years, Mahesh came to me seeking my help and I entered in your house being Binitha's doctor during her pregnancy. Binitha was facing first stage of brain tumor but I lied you that she was suffering from asthenia, so that you cannot treat her. You blamed Bondita for Binitha's condition and our plan worked. When you said bad about Bondita, Binitha blurted Bondita's whereabouts but we didn't find Bondita there either, as she already left her husband's house. When you went to Kalkata in search of Bondita, Binitha threatened Mahesh. Then we planned to kill her. I knew nothing would happen to her because the symptoms of brain tumor were so mild and she could be cured as it caught early on. At first Binitha used to say she would die but when her baby was born, she said she wanted to live, with her baby but we knew her survival would be our end and that's why Mahesh and I killed her mingling poison with medicine......."

Lone drops of tears rolled down Anirudh's eyes as he shut eyelashes tightly in pain to hear the heart-wrenching revealation of his wife's death. Samarth also was weeping, placed his gentle hand on Anirudh's shoulder in condolence. A shaky breath left Anirudh's lips. After a while opened his eyes which turned bloodshot red in extreme anger.

"And then you declared that the cause of Binitha's death was brain tumor and slipped away from us too easily! On the other side, within weeks, Mahesh was caught for kidnapping and selling little children and girls to somewhere, and was in Jail for two years. By the way " he took a step towards Chandrachur and asked " After abduction, To whom did you sell those children and girls? You were in jail for two years but didn't even say that person's name. Why??"

Not getting any response Anirudh gritted angrily "I asked you something Chandrachur?"

"The British officer threatened me not to reveal about him....to...to Whom I used to sold those children and girls"

"What is the name of that officer?"

"Officer Anderson and his partner ARC......"

Anirudh went in deep thought after hearing the names. Shooing away other thoughts he chose to focus on the recent case, looked at Chandrachur and Dr. Reshab with same with same fire in his eyes..
