First year in high school
"I love you"
Said the girl with a spark in her eyes, that innocent spark that every girl had before being rejected for the first time.

The class nerd, the one who has a book stuffed in their face all day.
The boy wasn't surprised at all, I mean it's not uncommon to have a crush on popular guys.
He was the example here.
Gojo Satoru
Every girl wanted to date him, every boy wanted to be friends with him.
His face didn't change, he didn't react at all like I said everyone wanted him.
Or so he thought.
"who even are you?"
Her smile fell, it broke her heart that he said it in just a rude way but what is there more to say, it was true she is no one and he is famous around the school.
Tho the spark in her eyes doesn't flatter, she still has two more years till graduation.
She still has hope.
But is it for long?
Second year in high school
"I love you"
The same sentence from last year, the spark is still there
Satoru could help but laugh to himself a bit, I mean this girl is trying too hard for someone she can't have
She started wearing more nicer clothes, started wearing make-up, and parting with her friends
In hopes that he would notice her
He wouldn't lie and say she looks bad but other girls would to about the same for him
He doesn't like desperate girls, the ones that cling to you and start controlling your life, what you wear and who you talk to
Even tho she doesn't seem like them, he doesn't need a relationship
" look I thought I told you last year I don't like you"
She looks down, thighing her grip on her sweater
" at least can we go on a date and see how it goes?"
He didn't reply at first, thinking even tho he knew the answer to the question
"No"
She turned around and left, not before Satoru caught a glimpse of her eyes
Was he seeing things or did her eyes not have the same spark as before
He shrugged it off, he doesn't have time to think about useless relationships
Last year in high school The Graduation
Satoru lied
He started to think about the girl more and more, no matter how many times he tried to shrug it off
He couldn't
He tried to approach her, but she ran away every single time
He found out he loved her
He can't wait much longer today is the graduation, if he didn't do anything now
He won't do anything at all
He looks left and right, from the cafeteria to the garden outdoors
She wasn't anywhere in sight
The only place he didn't look was the rooftop, his friends were waiting for him and here he was
Looking for the girl
When he was haft way up the staircase he heard voices
And one of them was (y/n)'s voice!
He opened the door to see some of (y/n)'s friends and the girl herself

Her back was facing him
"(l/n)-san"
Slowly but surely she turned around, she changed that's the first thing he noticed, she didn't look the same at all
She dressed nicely but that wasn't the case
She didn't have a spark in her eyes anymore
He walked up to her and told her while staring at her
"I love you"
She blinked for a while and then started smiling at him
