Episode 5-1: Voice in the Dreams

For no reason, Y/N's presence made her life change slowly, as she felt warmth in her heart for a long time.

With this, she put her trust in him, which she somehow didn't have to doubt would cause sustaining injuries in her body.

"I volunteer to be part of your research, Y/N." She said with eagerness.

"Eh? Are you fine with it?" He asked with concern, remembering what she had suffered during his mission.

"You were hurting and spit out blood. I can't let you do that...."

She smiled reassuringly and didn't buy his words. Her other hand reached for his bracelet, fingering it.

Deep down, she didn't know how she reached her hand to him since it always affected her when there was him.

Don't know why... But I feel the urge to touch him... He got his hand almost vaporized...

He looked down at his arms, fingering his bracelet by her. He expressed a bit of doubt, even if she volunteered. She nodded as if to say it was alright and gave a warm expression to him.

Eventually, he smiled at her, accepting her offer in a nodding response.

Although she wanted to enjoy his moment for longer, she still remembered the task that she needed to do.

"Gotta go, Y/N. Need to train them." She said as she reluctantly released their grips and stood up.

"See you soon, Inchou." He nodded to her.

Can you just call me Fu Hua...?

She responded with a smile, then went to the stage, calling out the valkyrie students sternly, returning her drill sergeant act.

He smiled at her indirectly, watching Fu Hua instructing them in a stern and loud voice.

At the main building outside St. Freya High, Y/N met with Himeko and Theresa, discussing his researchers' testing site.

Himeko saw lots of potential in the Knight, which was why she wanted to see how he did, but it's still up to the principal's decision.

Theresa crossed her arms, asking about his test. "So, you're going to conduct research here?"

"Yes." He responded.

"Orders, Headmaster?" Himeko gazes at her principal.

Theresa was pondering his proposal. She had already seen her own organization, and the rival one, Anti-Entropy, had done something unethical and cruel to normal humans, and now she had been asked for permission by him to go testing.

After deciding whether to grant him or not, she eventually smiled.

"Permission granted, Y/N."

Theresa already knew his intentions only by looking at his behavior. She trusted that his test wouldn't put a strain on her student.

"Eh? Really? I'll be responsible and stop my test if the test goes wrong."

The plea that she heard was more than enough. "I believe in you. Your intentions don't seem to involve hurting my students, and I can see that." She smiled.

He nodded and showed respect. "Thank you very much, Headmaster."

"Now, Y/N, who would be joining your experiment?" Himeko asked.

"Umm... It's Fu—"

"Three of us."

The three glared at where the voice was coming from. Fu Hua, Kiana, and Mei gathered with him.
