Start from the beginning

"Lucia?" I look back at Diana as Lucia begins to talk.

"We have all the new equipment in... the only problem here is that Ignacia is back and asking for Diana." As soon as those words run through my mind, I freeze.

"Jesús, already?" I sigh, "Yep, and she's really pissed; we had to put the baby in the nursery." I groan in frustration.

"She's also saying she's going to expose a video? I don't know what video" I freeze at her words.

"I'm on my way, make sure the baby is good" I hang the call up and walk back to Diana.

"We have a situation" I tell her while scratching my head.

This is stressful.

My current fiance, Ignacia who also happens to be her ex-best friend, is asking for Diana.

"What?" She asks, turning to look at me.

"Ignacia is at my house... and she's asking for you" I can see as her eyes turn much darker than before.

"Why do I care?" She asks as she crosses her arms, breathing heavily now.

"she wants to talk" i reply, looking at her.

"Again, why do I care?" I sigh and shake my head.

"She's going to leak the video if we don't go," she slams the clipboard hard against my chest and makes her way to the car.

I follow behind Diana as she speeds towards my house. She is going to kill Ignacia.

Diana gets out of the car and walks before me into my house.

"You have the fucking nerve to threaten me again?" Diana grabs Ignacia by her hair and pushes her against the wall.

Ignacia pushes Diana back and slaps her. Before Diana could throw a punch, Ignacia kicked Diana in her abdomen, making her lose her balance.

Diana smirks and grabs a blade from her pocket and launches it right at Ignacia, cutting her on the cheek.

Ignacia looks angrily at Diana before looking over at me.

My cue to step beside her and control this

"Diana, next time don't pull out a blade on my fiance," I say, looking over at Ignacia and then Diana.

Diana stands up straighter, looking at me with an unknown emotion.

"Ignacia, Clarke, congratulations on your engagement," she spits out.

"But Ignacia, next time you threaten me, I'll destroy you and make you beg for mercy, Clarke, I'll take your kid away; make sure you'll never see him again," I scoff, stepping closer towards her.

"Threaten my kid again, and I'll kill you," I say as my anger slowly rises.

She steps closer, her chest touching mine.

"I'd like to see you try Clarke," her eyes turn dark as she smirks back at Ignacia then back at me.

"I'd have you watch how he begs for me." Ignacia grabs my arm and pulls me back, giving me a warningful look.

"You won't have the chance to touch my man, so let's be clear here: if you try something, I'll kill you," Ignacia says as Diana turns serious.

"What do you want?" Ignacia grabs my arm and kisses me.

Diana scoffs, walking away.

Decades can go by, and it'll still hurt.

I laugh. I can't go around acting immature, especially over some asshole who has something so far up his ass not even his own dog can detect.

Igancia steps before me as I reach the door. "What?" I ask, crossing my arms. "Erik is back, and he's looking for payback," she says as I roll my eyes. "Let him try," I say while stepping around her.

"It's serious; he still thinks it was your fault." I look up at her. It was never my fault; she knew it as well. But I took the blame because the one who did it killed himself.

"I'll take care of it," I say while turning back and looking at Clarke before walking out of the door.

It's dark by the time I make it to the hideout house.

I stop at the side of the road and control my breathing.

My hands shake as I look down.

"Fuck, don't," I whisper as I hit the steering wheel a little hard.

"Babe, is the baby asleep?" Ignacia asks as she sits beside me on the couch

"Babe, is the baby asleep?" Ignacia asks as she sits beside me on the couch.

I look at her and nod my head.

"Everything ok?" She cups my cheek, and I give her a short smile. "Everything's good," I say, standing and walking towards the bar area.

"You'll never stop loving her, will you?" She asks, with a hint of hurt in her voice.

"I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to help you," she starts, "but it's been years and you can't get over her yet." I sigh, shaking my head.

"I will, I just need a little more time," I confess while walking back to her and cupping her face.

"You are amazing—an amazing woman and mother—and I thank God every day that you are the mother to my child," I say, as she pulls my hand away and shakes her head with sadness.

"But... it's never enough," she whispers, walking away up to our bedroom.

"Ms

"Ms. Ferrari, finally," Claudia, my nanny, says as she walks to me with baby Elio.

I take him and become alarmed as I feel his warmth.

"Does he have a high fever?" I ask, kissing his little head.

"Yes, baby Bella, she's not feeling well either." I sigh immediately, walking up into their nursery.

"Warm up some water and hand me the Tylenol," I order Claudia.

"Oh, my babies," I whisper as Bella suddenly begins coughing.

Putting Elio down, I take her and pat her back gently.
