Thicknose: you kids sure look tired. Up all night watching the big meteor shower last night Eh?

All: uh-huh

Thicknose: well, I expect there will be more meteors tonight

Moxxie: really?

Thicknose: that's right. It's all part of the flying rocks of many nights

Ruby: flying rocks of many nights?

Thicknose: that's what they call it. And for good reason too

They then walk up to the ledge as Ruby couldn't help but feel something familiar about that saying

Thicknose: It doesn't happen often
but when it does, it lasts
The course of several nights
then the flying rocks will pass
So while they're here, you'll see them
light up the darkest night
But flying rocks up in the sky
are no reason for fright

Somehow the rocks can fly
Nobody really knows quite why
they're up in the sky

Ruby: say, I just remembered! I remember seeing the flying rocks of many nights before!

Millie: you have?

Ruby: yes. I was very little and living in the mysterious beyond. I had wondered off to look for my mom. The meteors scared me so much I didn't know what to do. Thankfully my mom and dad found me. And the next day my mom took me somewhere where we could be safe called hanging rock, beyond secluded canyon where we will go in case we got separated. That night was another night of meteors, and we stayed together under hanging rock. Now it's happening again, so now I have to return to hanging rock

Thicknose: not now Ruby. When meteors hit the ground in the mysterious beyond, they can start fires

Petrie: f-f-fires?

Thicknose: the mysterious beyond doesn't have as much water as we do here. So a fire can be very dangerous

Ruby: but if there is danger, my family will go to hanging rock to be safe. And I have to go there to make sure they are safe!

Moxxie: no Ruby. It's too dangerous

Littlefoot: Moxxie's right Ruby

Chomper: it's very dangerous

Ducky: it is, it is

Ruby: I need to do some thinking in my thinking place

We then cut to her at her thinking place as she makes her decision

Ruby: I know it will be dangerous, but I'll never feel okay unless I go make sure my family is okay

She then heads down the cliff sides and makes her way to the Great Wall. Then she hears rustling in the bushes and goes to investigate

Ruby: hello? Anybody there? Or am I alone?

Ruby hears silence in the foliage and sighs, but just as she is about to leave

"You are not alone"

She then sees ducky Millie spike ducky and Chomper emerge from the bushes

Ruby: guys?

Millie: it's was Chomper's idea

Chomper: I went to check up on you at your thinking place, and you weren't there. So I followed your trail with my sniffer

Millie: you could've told us you wanted to go, and we would've helped

Runy: but I have to move fast, and I can move faster when I am alone
