Shuichi was walking back to his own dorm room, after a day of detective files and cases.

When he arrived and was standing before the door, he saw a letter. Messily scribble on was a love heart.

Shuichi was confused and picked it up,
He was scared to open it incase it wasn't actually for him and was accidentally shifted by people walking.

He let his curiosity get the best of him, he quickly hid the letter in-front of him and opened his door swiftly going inside. He shut the door behind him and threw his bag down onto the bed before falling onto it himself.

Shuichi was laying on the bed holding the letter up above him staring at it.

He carefully lowered the letter and teared the envelope. A crumpled piece of paper was inside with a few messy handwritten words.

' ' u a are so preti ' '
Shuichi spent a minute trying to decipher what the words meant.

' ' you are so pretty ' '
Shuichi read to himself.
' ' jeez, whoever wrote this can't spell.. ' '
He murmured to himself.

His eyes darted to who it was from but nothing else was written. Instead a sticker plastered onto the paper was there.

' ' a cat sticker? Mh, was this written by a child.. '
A prank, maybe? ' '
He said to himself, contemplating if this letter was even worth reading.

He spent a few minutes, reading over.
He wanted to find out who this was from so was deep in thought examining each word and letter.

He looked over everything, to see if there was some sort of hidden code.
Nothing.

The next day

Shuichi was on his way holding his bag on his back. He actually had the letter in the bag. He really needed to find out who it was from or aimed to.

He sat at his work desk, he pulled the envelope out with the letter inside.

Later whilst he was doing investigations and cases whilst working on the letter.
Loud and many knocks were heard from outside.

Shuichi quickly stood up and went to the door.
A small purple haired boy stood before him.
Swinging back and forth on his heels smiling..
Deceivingly.

' ' ah- hello, Ouma. ' '
Shuichi greeted, ouma said nothing.

Finally he spoke up,
' ' someone wanted me to give this to you! ' '
He said, with a small grin.

He handed a note to shuichi and dashed off.
Shuichi tried to stop him but he was to fast.

Ouma was long gone and left shuichi dumbfounded standing at the door holding the note.
He was broke out of his trance and looked at the note.

He scrunched it up in his hand and shut the door going to his desk once more.
He opened the note in his hands.

' ' I luv u
- kaede ' '
Shuichi read in his head.

' ' huh, I love you.. ' '
His eyes went wide,
' ' kaede?! ' '

Shuichi got up and dashed out the door grabbing the letter and the note in his hand.

He ran to kaede holding the two stopping her and pulling her aside.
' ' uhm.. are you the one who, you know.. ' '

Kaede looked confused,
' ' I know..? Elaborate please, Saihara. ' '
She said, calmly.

Shuichi rubbed his forehead nervously,
Pulling out the note and the letter in the other hand he handed the two to Kaede.

She read the note, and burst into laughter.
' ' your funny ! Nope that's not me!~ ' '
She choked through her laughs.

' ' huh, but it says from Kae- ' '
Shuichi was cut off.

' ' yes, but if you also examine it.
The spelling and the writing is.. shocking. ' '
Kaede replied, sarcastically.

Shuichi nodded, yeah.. it didn't look like something Kaede would write.
That alone, she was with Miu.

' ' ah-.. I'm sorry, Akamatsu. ' '
Shuichi said, regretful.

He walked back to his own room and examined the two again.

Shuichi remembered,
He had handwritten documents from everyone
For a statement from a case he had to solve.
Trying to find out what everyone was doing
during the case.

He whipped out the documents and read through them, trying to see who's writing fit the two notes.

Ouma.

He was the one who had written the notes,
The spelling, the handwriting. It all matched up.
Even the sticker.

On the statement he had written he doodled small cat drawings and even add a sticker on.
A replica of the one on the letter.

He ran to Kokichi and stopped him standing before him.
Pulling out the two notes and putting them in his hands.
