"Chrome, did you think all this up by yourself in this primitive village? You gathered all these potentially useful minerals and scientific materials in that shed by yourself?"

"Yeah, that's right. That's a problem?" Chrome questioned in defense. "Kids collect everything. They smash things together, mix them, burn them...And if something crazy happens, that's sorcery. What else could it be?"

Amelie fiddled with her blue ends, smirking, "Tsukasa was so focused on ridding the world of science with Senku's death...But you can never really get rid of things in this world, there will always be someone else who makes it surface."

Senku approached him and leaned forward, Chrome startled by the sudden loss of distance.

"Chrome, the way things are going, you're ten billion percent one of the people Tsukasa is going to kill. Your only choice is to join our kingdom of science," he deduced with a smirk.

The boy was confused, "Tsukasa? What are you talking about?"

"I'd love to have this entire shed of science in our kingdom," Senku guffawed and approached the ladder, starting to climb it.

Amelie cackled, her eyes following him up, rubbing her hands together and sounding almost eviler than him, "There might be some useful building materials, this would be convenient."

"You're not getting it, jerks! Get down!" Chrome exclaimed, after a second of thought, he proclaimed, "I challenge you to one last fight, then. It's a duel! If you lose, you'll grovel and leave the village for good. If you win, I'll give you everything, shed and all."

"Challenge?" Senku questioned, unbothered.

"I'll show you some insane sorcery. I've never lost in my whole life–"

Amelie raised a brow, "Your whole life? What life? Aren't you, like, thirteen, kid?"

He pointed to Senku, "—Arithmetic! Fight me in a battle of numbers!"

"I'm pretty sure Senku is going to go undefeated," Kohaku bluntly stated, Amelie, hummed in agreement.

And as predicted, Chrome lost terribly, he fell to his knees in defeat.

Meanwhile, Senku and Amelie entered the shed, they were equivalent to 5-year-olds at the moment.

"Woah, there's definitely some stuff I can use in here!" Amelie clapped her hands together in excitement.

Senku glanced at the brunet male, "How many years did it take you to find all this stuff, dude?"

Chrome shared the same level of excitement, "See that? It's awesome, isn't it? You may have wrecked me in sorcery and arithmet— mean, I was off my game today anyway," he faltered at the mention of the loss before his spirits lifted again, "...but my collection is the best there is!"

The two scientists continued to explore. Amelie is quite a bit laxer than Senku.

Amelie pursed her lips, "Oi, Senku, I found some Galena."

"Lead: Acquired!"

"That one's crazy shiny when you break it," Chrome quipped in.

"I have no idea how they're different," Kohaku watched in confusion, "Why are you three getting excited about rocks?"

"Woah, is that cinnabar?"

Amelie observed the mineral Senku grabbed.

"Have fun showing off your trophies," Kohaku muttered with disinterest, "I have to deliver the hot spring to my sister."
