And there he passed out screaming her name piercing the land to sky.
Uncontrollable tears were flowing from their eyes. Anirudh puffed out mouthful air in superlative uneasiness. squeezing eyes shut rubbed whole face in urgency. After a few minutes, again spoke out in ever so calm and soft tone.....
"No. I haven't forgotten what happened ten years ago but I don't believe that either. All I believe is.....nothing can happen to my Bondita as long as I'm breathing..."
Saurav gazed at him helplessly, wiping off his tears , said "You are still holding on to what that priest said once! Destiny?! Anirudh, you only used to preached other's not to believe on such nonsense. Then what happened now? destiny is just an imaginary concept. You know very well that These destiny and all is nothing...but mythology. These things only sounds good in poetry not in real life. Better you accept it and throw away your false hope of getting her back...."
He let out a small laugh. shaking head slightly, looked outside through the window, the windows was his most favourable place in the Hut. That slight opening through Which the atmospheric glow tried to be in contact with him, was the thing which gave him his amount of soothing peace and attracted him to get new hopes for everyday. losing himself in the picturesque night view....uttered....
"Maybe yes, maybe no. But I have full faith in my love....in our love, that she will come back to me one day for sure...."
"She won't be back ever, Anirudh. She is dead. why don't you just forget her??" Saurav's voice was a bit louder that caught Anirudh's attention for a few seconds.
Anirudh smiled gently and nodded his head while tenderly running the harmonica on his lips, trying to memories the mesmerizing sound she used to create along with her heavenly voice.
The lazy smile on his countenance sometimes irked Saurav. Not only him but everyone. Because that blank lazy smile emerged from the endless pain he was undergoing, the loneliness his life has engulfed, the hopeless waiting he was doing for his beloved, from the eerie deepest silence he always stays in, and that smile yet again answered them without any word that his decision is irrevocable, like he never gave up, he would never give up ever. He will continue finding her, will keep waiting for his Bondita till death. People would suggested him to forget her and move on. it seemed illogical to them because finding her is like finding a tiny shell in the vast ocean. Even Anika and Adwait became hopeless. they miss their mother quite terribly but They too accepted it and somehow learnt to go on with the bitter truth of life.
But Anirudh still is optimistic....
He is the one person who has engraved her name in his soul, who had caged her tears in his eyes, her laughter, her melodious voice in his ears, and chained her memories in his head and bounded her forcefully yet so securely to his Heart.
Again, unrestrained tears rolled down his cheeks. Saurav closed his eyes in pain and defeat...he failed to bring back his friend from the ocean of melancholy. Anirudh's heavy voice reached to his ear after a long silence...
"Forget!! How? How can I forget her? Bondita.....she is in my body as soul, in my heart as heartbeat, in my veins as blood, in my mind as thoughts, on my lips as word, in my ear as voice, in my eyes as light, in my hands as strength, in my feet as path and destination. She is the air I breath, she is my reason to smile, my reason to live. She is my entire existence. Is it really possible to forget her?!!" He took a glance of Saurav before looking up towards the sky. "forgetting her is out of my ability, Saurav! For the world Anirudh and Bondita are different, two person but they don't know that Anirudh and Bondita aren't different. they're one', one in spirit, one in bond of love, one divinely. Anirudh is Bondita, Bondita is Anirudh. Nothing different...they are definitely two bodies but one soul......!
