It is 6:55 am, in uptown Fallwood Springs, where there are more trees and less houses, closer to the woods, in the second floor of a house, in a bed lays a orange haired and fair skinned person, still asleep. An annoying alarm blares, indicating it is 7 am, and time to get ready for school. The orange haired person groggily dismisses it and gets up. After getting out of bed, this person goes to get their clothes for the day. They pass a mirror, he does a double take and just stares at himself and just does a double thumbs-up.

This is Cooper Burzynski, he is thin and has fair skin. He has light freckles across his face. His hair is dyed orange and is naturally thick and fluffy, his bangs cover his eyebrows mostly. He is 16 years old and is in his sophomore year. He is of European descent and likes alt rock and plays the bass.

Cooper then actually grabs his clothes and goes to take a shower. After his shower, Cooper put on his binder and clothes. His clothes are a layered white long sleeve shirt with an orange graphic tee with a black cat design on it and navy blue baggy jeans with a few small rips in them. Cooper looks at himself in the mirror and fixes his hair to how he likes it. He leaves the bathroom and goes back to his room to grab his backpack and phone. After he leaves his room he checks on his still sleeping mom. He then goes to the kitchen and puts two slices of bread in the toaster. After the toast pops up, Cooper puts the two pieces on a plate and writes his mom a note. He then leaves the house and leaves for school on his bike.

The brisk early morning autumn air breezes past his face as he bikes. The bright orange leaves of autumn on the ground, on the trees, and on the ground. The rows of suburb houses Cooper passes, all the same except one. Cooper stops, this house has yellow police tape around it and police cars are around it, something happened. Cooper stares for a minute and goes on his way to school, he can check it out later.

Cooper continues his ride to school, though he cannot stop thinking about that house, something about it felt off, something was not right about it, besides the cops there, it was more than that. He will make sure to check it out after school. After 10 miles of riding, he makes it to Fallwood High with enough time to hang out with his friends before classes start. He locks up his bike on that bike rack thing schools have and goes to search out his friends. Cooper goes to the cafeteria because he and his friends normally hang out there and also, if he doesn't find them it is the closest to his 1st period so if he doesn't find them he can just for school to start. He enters the cafeteria and lo and behold, his two best friends are there. They both wave at Cooper and he goes over and sits down with them.

"Hey Casey, hey Daniel!" Cooper says right as soon as he sits down.

"Hey dude." Casey says while doing a finger gun.

This is Casey Namika, she is as thin as Cooper and her skin has a slight tan. Her hair is dyed blonde with a purple streak in her bangs. She is 15 and in her Sophomore year. She is of Japanese descent and likes pop music.

Daniel looks up from their phone and smiles. "Hey Coop!"

This is Daniel Brown, he is a bit chubbier than Cooper and Casey and his skin tone is a dark brown. His hair is a deep brown, almost black in shade and styled into thick and dense locs. They are 16 and in their Sophomore year. They are of Jamaican descent and likes techno and EDM music and plays the keyboard.

"Daniel, I thought we agreed for you to never call me that again." Cooper laughs lightly. "Anyways guys, you would not believe what I saw on the way to school this morning!" Cooper said to his friends excitedly.

"If it is about the police cars by the Perez house, we already know, the whole school has been talking about it. Sorry Cooper." Casey said bluntly.

"Oh.." Cooper replied disappointingly, mostly because he wanted to relay new information to his friends. "Still, I wonder what happened to her." Cooper said, continuing the conversation.

"I think it was just a robbery and she is fine." Daniel chimed in.

"Well I think she was murdered in the middle of the night!" Casey said in a frightening tone, all she needed was the lights to be dimmed and a flashlight pointed underneath her face.

"Well, whatever happened to her, I hope she is just fine." Cooper said, not inputting his own idea because those two were his ideas too. The bell rings indicating school begins. "Well, see you guys at lunch!" Cooper said getting up and leaving for his first period class.

"Yeah, see you dude."

"See you then, Coop!"

Time passes, school is over, nothing really note to mention, just the classes and Cooper, Daniel, and Casey hanging out but they didn't really continue their conversation from this morning, so nothing to note. Cooper goes back home on his bike and passes by the Perez house, stopping there again. Cooper decides to check it out.

Cooper goes by the side, avoiding the cops. He feels bad about this, intruding on an innocent woman's home. Though, at the same time, his curiosity is eating him up from the inside and it must be satisfied. He makes it to the right side window and he peaks into it. All he sees at first is average. The lights are off, forest green wallpaper, bookshelves filled with books, a table with a white tablecloth over it, so far so normal. Then all he can see is a bit of Victoria's lifeless body on the floor and standing over it is a humanoid shadowy silhouette that is pitch black. It looks back at him in the eyes, with all five of them, one large vertical one in the center with the other four around that one. Out of fear, Cooper ducks down out of sight. After one minute he peeks back, it is gone, just Victoria's lifeless body on the floor. Cooper quickly leaves the scene, feeling as if he saw something no one should have in their lifetime.
