Not So Different, yet as Different as Can Possibly Be

6-The Upgrade

   X-4-K stopped inspecting himself and agreed. "Yes, I understand." He then put back on his coat, and made his way out the doorway.

   "Aren't you forgetting something?" the engineer asked.

   He looked back at her in confusion until she tossed him a pair of pants. Ah yes, humans and there sense of decency.

   Xenia pulled up to the café where they had agreed to meet up. She walked inside and found her partner sitting there at a table in the back with his hands on the table. She made her way there and sat opposite him. "Hey babe."

   His eyes met her's and he sat up. She was a beautiful woman with neon pink hair and a very cyber-punky dress sense. She had gauges in her ears big enough to fit her fingers through, piercings of various sizes and styles all over her face, as well as piercings on her nipples, bellybutton, and personal areas. The nipple and genital piercings were currently hidden in clothes, but he knew that they were there. "Hey."

   "So how'd it go?"

   "Pretty well. I was given the whole no raping speel, I have no intention on doing so but I am glad it's required. I am also glad the charge for the upgrade also covered a pair of pants."

   The waiter came over and took her order before she turned back to him. "What kind of pants?"

   He stood up, and placed his hands behind his back. The pants were black and went down to his ankles. He watched her look at them, and noticed she was staring at a particular bulge. So that's what she wanted to see.

   He sat back down as the waiter returned with Xenia's coffee in a disposable cup. She tipped him in cash and turned back to X-4-K before standing up herself. "Let's go home," she told him. She then winked and added "I wanna test run."

   He followed her out of the store and found himself staring. Xenia had a well shaped bubble butt, to put it mildly, and he had always appreciated the aesthetics of it. But now, the sight of it was sending photons down pathways in his head he hadn't had before this morning. He took his eyes off of it and looked at the car instead.

   Once they were both in, she started it up and raced back to their apartment. "Slow, slow down!" X-4-K yelled. Xenia, however, was in a hurry, and did not want to wait. She had a long day at work, and needed something to make her feel better.

   They in front of the apartment building, and before he could ask what she was doing, she had opened his door, pulled him out of the car, and shut it behind him. She then practically dragged him up the stairs to the third floor, before fumbling with the keys in the doorway.

   "Xenia, what, what's gotten into you?" he asked worriedly.

   She opened the door, looked him in the eye, and then looked slightly downward while grinning. "The same thing that's gotten into you, Xack."

   His eyes followed hers and saw what she was staring at. His bulge, it had gotten bigger. She pulled him into the apartment with her before shutting and locking the door.

   He stood in front of the couch and faced the holo-tv. Something had certainly gotten into him, and now his mind was wandering places he had never had before. It was affecting his new apparatus in very peculiar ways.
