Episode 21: Happy Halloween!

Caligraphy Pen:
The Everything felt Suffocating. Even if he couldn't see the best he could make out where the walls of the maze were. The cardboard cutout jumpscares got him everytime since he couldn't see where they were coming from. His legs already felt as though they were hurting. Even if he just started. But than he tripped over a pumpkin and fell headfirst into a pile of hay. Caligraphy Pen broke down crying. He was terrified. Didn't know exactly where he was and couldn't even see where he was going. He felt like a dump little lost kid again. Memory's started replaying in head. Back when his stepdad told him to get out of the car in the pouring rain. He couldn't see where he was going. He was lost and cold and scared... Just like he is now. But than he recognized something in the distance. The church his family went to. Using that he was able to pinpoint his location and find his way home. Of course his stepdad got no repercussions for dumping him and his mom didn't care. But he managed to find his way home...
What's stopping him from doing it again...? Caligraphy Pen stood up and wiped his tears. He didn't have a church to help him this time. So he'd have to think. Vintage said there were no rules. He leaned up against the corn maze wall only to collapse into it. It was... Really thin. And very poorly made... He got an idea. He ran through the cornmazes walls crashing into all of them before he ran into something hard. He looked up and saw some red thing knocked over with something gold next to it. He ran over. It was the pumpkin! He smiled and cackled "HAHAH! I DID IT! YES! Now to get the hell outta here!"

"...Cali I'm not sure that counts." "Hey! YOU said no rules! Right?" Vintage paused. "That's a good point!" He grabbed his megaphone. "ATTENTION CONTESTANTS! THE PUMPKIN HAS BEEN FOUND! PLEASE COME BACK TO THE MAIN AREA!"

Milkshake gasped "Shoot! I was thinking about so much other stuff I forgot!" Milkshake grabbed Nests hands "We can't be thinking about honor! I'm flying us out of here!" Milkshake flew up and saw the exit "Alright! Let's go!"

Cappy flinched and fumbled back at the sound. Lighter picked him up "We got so caught up in the maze we forgot!" Cappy was still dazed by the sudden and loud sound. When he saw Milkshake and Nest about to fly over them. He got an idea! "Let me in you head and grab my foot!" "...What?" "NOW!" Lighter gulped and put Cappy on his head and grabbed his foot. Than as Milkshake and Nest were flying by he bit Nests ankle! Causing him and Lighter to go with them "OW!" Milkshake saw they had grabbed on and flew up hoping they would fall off. But the didn't. Cappy saw thet were getting close to the exit. So he swung... And swung... And let go! The sudden lightening if the weight caused Milkshake to crash into a branch!

Cappy and Lighter we're the first to hit the ground. Cappy was dazed from the rough landing but felt Lighter pick him up and spin him around. "HAHAHA! WE MADE IT!" Cappy... Found himself laughing too. For someone who was usually a lot more cold it was nice to finally have some warmth. But it was cut short when Milkshake crashed into the ground. She slowly sat up. A large crack on her stomach "Ow... I'll need some super glue for that." She groaned. Only to be caught off guard when Nest and fluttering down from the sky due to her lightweight. "And Nest is eliminated!"

Everyone stood before the Elimination portal. Here to say goodbye to Nest. Nest smiled at her friends. While bittersweet she knew she'd see them again and she was excited to see her beloved Bucket again. "I'll miss you all especially you Milkshake. You have amazing potential." Milkshake smiled at her. "Oh! And Cali?" Cali flinched at the sudden sound of his voice. "Even if you don't have sight your incredibly smart. Good luck." Caligraphy pen just looked away. Not admitting he'd certainly think about that for a long while. He couldn't see nest leave. But he could see the green colors of the portal fade out of view.

Cappy laid down in his bed. Exhausted. But he found himself unable to sleep. Looking up at the glow in the dark star stickers Bottle had put there. "Psst. Lighter? You awake?" Lighter peeked his head down from the top bunk "Yeah. Why?" "It's just... I feel bad for the contest... I know I did what I had too to win... But... I hurt Milkshake and got Nest eliminated..." Lighter sighed. "Mind coming up here?" Cappy climbed off the bed and made his way up the ladder. Lighter picked him up and sat him down next to him. "It's the final 4 now. If it weren't Nest it would've been one of us. Plus Milkshakes injury wasn't your fault! It was gravity's!" Cappy laughed at Lighters comment. A tiny snort came out. Light smiled "I like your laugh." Cappy found himself blushing "Th-Thanks..." "You... Wanna lay down in my bed tonight? Vintage couldn't get all the same blankets it seems and mine is thicker..." "Sure. I don't see why not."

Caligraphy pen still refused to sleep in a cabin. He hadn't earned one yet. Even if he won the challenge. In face he felt worse because he won. He cheated. Even if it was allowed. What Nest said made him feel a little better. But not enough to make him feel as though he deserved a warm bed or even shelter. Luckily it wasn't raining. But it was still freezing. Calis thoughts swarmed like a vicious hive of bees. Before it started to calm down as he fell asleep to the gentle sounds of autumn leaves blowing in the wind.
