Chapter Twenty Eight: With Haste

The next day Lu Meng visits Zhou Yu outside where he sat to relax.
Lu Meng: "you summon me Commander?"
Zhou Yu: "yes i heard what happen at the banquet."
Lu Meng: "i would've been executed if Raiden didn't intervene but i wonder why he saved me?
Zhou Yu: "and what did you think why?"
Lu Meng: "maybe he did it for his safety or wishes me to be humiliated."
Zhou Yu: "forget about that cur... in the morning have Guards remain alert at the gates and be on the look out for Raiden and Liu Bei, spys saw The Guardian them fight Liu Bei and manage to persuade him to leave tomorrow."
Lu Meng: "what is the plan if they do?"
Zhou Yu: "arrest Liu Bei immediately."
Lu Meng: "and if Raiden is there?"
Zhou Yu: "kill him and bring his head as a sacrifice to Lord Sun Ce and our men who died at Red Cliffs."
Lu Meng: "as you wish..."

Next Day, Morning

A carriage leaves with Sun Shangxiang and Liu Bei, spys watching from the corner saw them leaving through the gate unfazed by the Guards who are Cabal.
???: "Liu Bei and The Princess has left, report to Lord Sun Quan... did you hear what i said."
Lianshi: "he did." the spy turn to see his buddy on the ground unconscious and Lianshi holding a shovel.
???: "Lady Lianshi?"
Lianshi: "sorry." *bonk*
After knocking out the look out Lianshi get on coms to Raiden.
Lianshi: "they are clear and leaving, Skipper."
Raiden: "good, now we just got to wait for Niko's signal."

Nikolai's POV

Meanwhile in the palace Niko spike the wine with heavy Macbeth liquor and distributed with Sun Quan and the generals. Lady Wu contributes with The Dregen's plan as she pressures her Sun Quan and Generals to drink more "wine" or Jagermeister watching them beginning to act sloppy and drunk.
Sun Quan: "mother... wh- what are- we... what?"
Lady Wu: "nonsense Quan drink some more, it's a treat for our general's hard work."

Niko: "they took the bait, you guys can go."
Raiden: "good, see ya later."
Niko: "you too man, take care of yourself... i mean it."
Raiden: "yeah right."
Lianshi: "just do it..."

Raiden's POV

As Raiden peeks out at the gate, he checks on Wenji wearing Warlock gear. he took off his Rifle and made Wenji strap it behind her back.
Cai Wenji: "are you sure this will get me through?"
Raiden: "as long as you don't take off your helmet."
Cai Wenji: "are we waiting for?"
Raiden: "the perfect moment." he peeks again and saw many Guardians group up and look at eachother confused.

Raiden help equip a helmet for Wenji to wear before putting his on and held her hand to follow.
Raiden: "don't say word to them or anyone, just nod or shake your head." they go through the group and heard them talk as they pass by.
???: "hey dude did you get an LFG post about new Exotic Fishes here?"
Raiden: "i seen it but wasn't interested, what happened?"
???#2: "it said there was a new fishing spot around here but canceled after 1 minute after posting."
???#3: "so we got baited?"
???: "what a jerk i hope that guy gets bad RNG."
Raiden: "preying bad RNG on em, poor fella."
???#3: "wasted time over doing my Stasis quest."
???#2: "back to swinging in Neomuna i guess." They blend in the group of Guardians leaving through the gate. all was going smooth until they saw Zhou Yu standing at the gate along with Lu Xun and Wu guards on the lookout.
Cai Wenji: "oh no he will see us."
Raiden: "no he'll see me but not you, I'll get his attention, just meet up at the point, Dubs go with her." His Ghost quickly hid into her robes as Raiden splits up and speeds ahead to get Zhou Yu's attention.
Zhou Yu: "oh, greetings Guardian."
Raiden: "what's with that look on your face?"
Zhou Yu: "it is a normal day, im doing an inspection at each gate, and you?"
Raiden: "I've been called to action on Earth."
Zhou Yu: "so you're leaving your wife behind, where will she go?"
Raiden: "it's not your business."
Zhou Yu: "nonsense, as a Husband you should be watching her every move?"
Raiden: "and as a human being, mind your damn business." Zhou Yu taken aback by his attitude wishing he kill him on the spot if it weren't for other Guardian around them.
Zhou Yu: "Guardian there is no need for that attitude."
Raiden: "attitude my ass, you think i didn't notice you trying to prove something worthless?"
