𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆, 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘅 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿

twenty-one

smiling to yourself and patting down your skirt, you tighten your high ponytail and head out of your room.

you could hear your siblings all playing merrily in the other room, you step up to your parents, giving them both a kiss on the cheek before waving goodbye and exiting the house.

obanai was out like usual and duck was snug as a bug in a rug in one of your fuzzy socks, sleeping the day away, so you were alone on your trip this time.

a bright grin on your soft pink lips was visible as you strolled down the streets of your neighbourhood, stopping by a few houses and people to say hello.

a group of boys on bikes ride by, you wave happily to them, they all wave back nervously, blush on their cheeks.

as you walk away, the boys all talk to each other from their bikes.

"[name] is so hot" one with big framed glasses speaks with a smirk.

a little one wearing a red shirt deadpans, though blush on his own cheeks, "shut up richie"

'richie' rolls his eyes, "yeah, yeah, eds"

one with slightly curly brown hair rolls his eyes a bit, "a shame bev couldn't come, she'd love to see [name] again"

another one tihe brown, straight hair nods, "ye-yeah"

they all ride off to who knows where as you continue down the street, chatting happily with a vendor selling fresh fruits.

"how lovely to see you again, miss [name]!"

you grin, "how's kusuo doing, mr. saiki?"

he crosses his arms, "boys as cold as ever"

you laugh, happily, buying a juicy apple and waving goodbye.

as you head down to the local park, you bite into the apple, humming in delight at the crunch.

strolling happily passed a group of kids who were playing soccer, they all wave and scream your name, still playing their game.

you grin back at them, "tanjiro, nezuko, genya, kanao, aoi, zenitsu, inosuke! hope you're doing well! have fun playing!"

they all laugh and continue kicking the ball.

you hum a soft tune to yourself as you stroll passed a large oak tree, only to pause as you hear a very loud, boisterous meow.

your eyes shine, you slowly spin around, stepping in the direction of the meows.

you peek around the tree, there was a cat with bright yellow, orange and red fur with matching eyes who seemed to be conversing with a.. squirrel?

you blink, the cat turns around and meows loudly again, seeming to be smiling and jumps on your chest.

you squa slightly, tumbling back a bit and catching the cat.

"oh! hello cutie! what are you doing here?"

you ask the cat who meowed back as if responding.

you check the cats neck for a collar, only to frown slightly, seeing none.

"do you have an owner?"

the cat shakes his head, you sweat-drop.

"okay.. how about i take you home with me?"

though you think to yourself,

ahh.. i hope mama and papa will accept.. eek!

the cat beams, nodding rapidly which made you laugh. he wraps himself around your neck, snuggling into your neck.

you grin, "hmm... i think i'll name you.. kyojuro!"
