I swallowed another lump in my throat as I locked my eyes with his furious ones from across the bar. His murderous glare freezing my bones. I grabbed the glass tighter so it wouldn't be visible how much my hand was trembling. "Don't..." I mumbled. "It won't help you think clearer. And you have money that need to be brought back..."

I don't know what I was expecting. A hit?Another angry growl? Yelling? Agreement? I couldn't even read what his reaction would be. He always hid his next moves so tactically that I had never managed to see through him. However, I probably got the best reaction I could think of as he pulled back from the glass, still staring deeply at my eyes with a lot softer look.

"Juyeon! Call Soojin, Krystal and Heeseung! Jennie, you got people around, find the bastard's location before he leaves Busan and send it to us all. You're staying home with Soji." Both saluted him, proceeding to do what they were told immediately. Him on the other hand got off the barstool, still having his eyes focused solely on me. "I will go and change. You will call Mark, kitten." I nodded before he walked away, releasing a long silent sigh.

'Thank God.' replaying in my head over and over as I walked upstairs to the said guy's room. He was the only one staying at home besides me and Jennie, so I didn't need to use my phone to call him. Instead I needed to climb the stairs right after Minhyuk and knock on the door right next to his after he entered, like he couldn't have done that himself.

Mark opened the door, plastering a wide smirk across his face the moment he saw me. He leaned on the doorframe with folded arms, staring down at me with his evil little green eyes. One more time reminding me how different he is from my Mark and how much I would rather see him than this annoying one. So dissimilar from him, yet a walking reminder just because of his stupid name. I withstood rolling my eyes at him and my thoughts as well. But couldn't help but stare at him with the cold expression I always had around him.

"What brings you here kitten?" He highlighted the last word with a raised eyebrow and I just ignored it instead of giving him exactly what he wanted and fall for his vexing teasing.

"Minhyuk's orders bring me here." I mumbled coldly with my arms folded across my chest mirroring him. He rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, I'd rather be anywhere else but here staring at that stupid smirk of yours." I hissed, resulting him to push me to the other wall of the corridor.

I moaned. The hardness of the flat wall hitting my back halted my breath for whole five seconds and Mark standing so close to my face didn't help me regain air any sooner. He cupped my jaw in his hand, making me stare up at him while I could barely breathe because of the nonexistent space between us.

"What did I fucking do for you to hate me this much, huh?" He asked loud enough to make it clear he was angry, but quiet enough for no one else to hear, hopefully not even Minhyuk in the adjacent room.

I grabbed his hand pushing it away from me with my eyes burying daggers at him. In fact he never did anything bad to me, but there were so many reasons I didn't like him around. "First of all, you remind me of someone I don't want to be reminded of." I pushed him away. "Secondly, I don't know if you're doing it on purpose or what you're trying to do, but you are trying to be just like your boss. You act like him, talk like him, even walk like Minhyuk!"

"Do you know what else I can do just like Minhyuk?" He asked stepping closer to me again with the most dangerous look in his eyes he's looked at me with so far. My heart skipped a beat as I waited for his next move and my knees weakened like I knew something bad was coming. He pulled my hand in his room, slamming the door behind close and pushing me against the wall next to it.

Before I could realize what was going on I was being kissed forcefully and harshly, unable to move or speak or even push him off. My brain was using even its spare batteries trying to work out a situation where this ends well. But all I had time for was to realize I had tears on my face, my heart was beating rapidly, I watched Mark fly off of me and Minhyuk punching his guts out.
