The scooter finally came in! I rode it around a bit around town before meeting up with Yukiko at Samegawa.

She brought a homemade boxed lunch.

"It came out well, so I packed it up. Try it out."
She said.

It looks normal, but there's an unusual pungent smell in the air.

"Let's eat!" I said.

"Yes, go ahead!" She said.

Oh boy, look out stomach here it comes. I started with the omelette looking, thing, it's actually soft- and there it is, something hard to bite through on the inside. It smells burnt, yet raw. I have a bad feeling about this. I managed to swallow it.

"You're not about to tell me how delicious that was, were you?" She said.

"There's always next time." I said.

"I-I suppose, thank you." Yukiko said.

"What are you doing?" Nanako asked. She came walking up to the two of us, I can also see Cal stalking nearby.

"Ah, Nanako-chan, well I was just having him try my boxed lunch." Nanako said.

Cal came running out.

"Sorry Nanako-chan, but they promised I could have some first." He said.

"Who are you?" Nanako asked.

"He's another friend." I said.

"I'm sorry, but I can't give you some, it's not good." Yukiko said.

Cal let out a sigh of relief. I'm glad he went to shield Nanako from this monstrosity that Yukiko calls food.

"Oh, if you make a good one, will you let me have some?" Nanako asked.

"Huh? S-Sure, if you want." Yukiko said.

"Yay! I'm rooting for you!" Nanako said.

"Nanako-chan, thank you. I'll do my best, okay?" Yukiko said.

"Okay, I need to go now. I'm going to Mai-chan's house, bye!" She said.

"Be careful. I'm sorry to drag you around." She said.

"Hey I'm having fun." I said.

"R-really? I'm glad to hear that." She said.

She's really starting to rely on me. Our bond has grown a little deeper.

"Only about a year left huh? I need to be able to do anything on my own by then." She said.

I gave her back the box, then she got up and left.

"You know if you want to get anywhere with her, you need to stop stalking her and actually hang out with her." I said to Cal.

"Yeah well it doesn't help that you're here. I don't need a wingman." He said.

"No but I think you need an attitude adjustment." I said to him.

"Whatever, I'm going home. I don't need a lecture from a broken hearted angsty crybaby." He said before leaving.

I rode my scooter around some more before it got dark and went home.

Evening.

I decided to spend my evening with Dojima.

He pushed Nanako to my room for some reason.
