Is he even allowed to go here at this floor?

"Obviously, I got a present for you." He raised the bag and I gave him a suspicious look with my eyes narrowed, he added "I did exactly what Molly did to you, so."

He meant stole. How thoughtful of you to simply return my belongings. Then I noticed the angel wing tattoo on his arm was so detailed and beautiful, and when he moved his wrist to the side a little, I caught a glimpse of a handwritten in cursive over his side wrist that looked similar to mine, my writing style.

My suspicious expression returned. Cam seemed to notice my exchanged look and he had to quickly put his hand down after I grabbed my bag and smiled up at him amusedly, "You don't have to, I planned on taking this from Molly today."

"But I did it first anyway, so— you're welcome by the way."

"Yeah, thank you for saving my life." My eyes widened in impressed sarcastically.

"Now now, no need for sarcasm. I just had to do the right thing."

"You sure always do the right thing, huh?" I teased him, impressed, and then he just sighed deeply, as if what I said was too speculative to be true.

"Yeah, sometimes." He wrinkled his nose teasingly.

Cam took a look at the hoodie I was still wearing, Daniel's hoodie. He cocked his head "Hey, you better get change and have breakfast, we got an early detention to attend."

Right, almost forgot that.

I looked down at myself and pulled the hoodie's string, nodding, "Yeah. I will." I turned my head away before I caught myself staring at those eyes, but I looked back at him indecisively.

"What?" he asked. Wanted to know what was on my mind.

"Wait," I leaned in closer, but not to Cam, who assumed I was, because I just wanted to check the corridor, which was empty, or perhaps I'm the only one who's special stays on this floor. I could feel his eyes looking down at me and I asked, "Okay, how did you even get up here?"

"I have my ways." Cam said in confidence then I return my gaze to him, he smirked faintly.

I felt the corner of my lips curled in amusement and raised my brows with Oh really? look.

"I made an effort." He teased like my dorm wasn't really that far from his.

You're really something, aren't you? I narrowed my eyes and backed away little with my cheeks flushed from how close we were to each other. A little chuckle escaped from my mouth and shook my head as I sarcastically said "Wow, I'm impressed."

Cam leaned against the jamb door, he added "Yeah?— Well anyway, I gotta go kick some ass." A form of cheerful smile spread across his face.

"Alright, thanks again, Cam." I said and I mean it this time with no sarcasm.

Cam uncrossed his arms and straightened his spine as he stepped backwards, gazing down at me. "Aw. See you later," he winked and smiled softly before walking away.

"Or never." I muttered under my breath, okay, that was childish, and Cam heard me, which caused him to look over his shoulder and give me a childish-grumpy-look.

I found myself laughing little and blushing as a result of his silly reaction, and I watched him until he disappeared in the corridors, and I began to hear some teenagers from downstairs leaving their rooms for breakfast.

I clutched my bag to my chest as a door next to my room opened, startling me because I thought I was the only person on this floor. I saw Luce come out of room 63, she closed the door behind her, and caught me in surprise but with a little amusement. "Oh, morning, Luce." I greeted her.
