Now to take action~!

After waking up again, it was now evening bc of the moon shining outside the window. he slowly got up, get dressed with his usual black and red robes and went back to dorms. he passed by the Lanshi where Xichen and Wangji along with Qiren surrounding the small cage he left yesterday. he walked closer but transformed into his fox form and listened to their conversation,

"but- where could the creature have gone Shushu?" Xichen asked a little panic in his voice,

"hmm.... i dont know Xichen, i tried to trace it with its resentful energy it left behind but it stopped near the window... sigh..." Qiren replied as he stroked his goatee,

"Wangji would like to talk to the spirits near the area to find clues. will Shushu and Xiong Zhang give Wangji permission?" Wangji bowed,

"yes you may, we need to find that animal as soon as possible" Xichen nodded to his Shushu's agreement to Wangji's request,

"Wangji thanks Xiong Zhang and Shushu" he said and left the Lanshi as soon as possible and brought along with him his Guqin.

And as soon as Wei Wuxian saw Lan Wangji walking towards his direction, he immediately teleported back into his room still in his fox form, he felt something soft and fluffy on his feet and slumped in it.

The next morning, he woke up early which was unusual but his eyes widened when he looked at his surroundings. He was back inside the cage again!! But he is still in his room though,

"Shushu, it's awake" a voice behind him said,

He turned around and immediately froze when he saw three Lan people. Lan Qiren, Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji.

He tried to teleport away but it still didn't work, he was getting pissed and started to nag and scratch again,

"Shushu...." Xichen looked at his uncle,

He looked at him back and sighed, "let it out and put on the collar" he said and Xichen nodded as he turned around to face his little brother who also nodded,

Wangji walked up to the fox's cage and slowly put the collar on the fox who's still in the cage, Wei Wuxian tried to get out of his grasp and wriggled and scratched the hands of the Jade,

Despite the pain of the scratches from the fox's claws gave him he still didn't give up and after a while of struggling he finally out the collar around the fox's neck. Sighing in tiredness but not really audible he walked back to his uncle and brother, Xichen getting a bandage out of his sleeve and carefully wrapped it around the wound of his brother before slowly sending spiritual energy.

While all that was happening Qiren walked towards the fox and slowly opened the gate of the cage.

Seizing this chance Wei Wuxian immediately lept out and teleported away not giving Qiren the chance to get him, and all of that was left before him was an empty cage with a leash on the ground.
