joseph sat in the chair, setting his water bottle on the floor next to him before looking over at adria as she adjusted the mic that was connected to her top. he chortled which caused adria to look over at him, "what are you laughing at, stupid." she grumbled as she continued to fumble with the tiny black mic. he shook his head and held his hands up in defense, "would you like me to help you, ria?" he asked. she nodded and he returned the gesture before taking a hold of the mic. joseph clipped the mic in place while holding eye contact with her, sending chills through her body.
he leans back in his seat and watches as the interviewer sat across from them. the interviewer smiles at joseph, "hi, i'm krista, it's such a pleasure to meet you, i've got to say, you're definitely more handsome that i expected." she compliments. he smiled and brought his hands up to his heart, "you're terribly kind, i also think you're very pretty." he compliments back. krista looks over at adria and gives her a light smile, "i love your shoes!" she tells her. adria smiles back and looks down at her feet, "thank you, i thrifted them! i love your earrings." she compliments back.
"we're rolling." the camera crew say, causing krista to grab her cards and go over them before starting the interview. "i'm krista drake from entertainment tonight, and here with me are the stars of the new romantic comedy, late at night! ms. adria ruiz and joseph quinn," krista greets the camera then looks at adria and joseph, "evening guys. i have to say the movie is amazing, and i have to ask, what has been your favorite part of the whole experience?" she asked.
"well, i think-"
"my favorite would-"
adria and joseph began to speak at the same, causing them both to look at each other, "oh, i'm sorry, go ahead!" adria tells him as she rests her hand on his arm. he shook his head, "no, no, ladies first!" he insists and she nods.
adria smiled at him, "the best part of this experience would have to be that i was able to sort of discover on my own that i have a wider range than i expected and-and-and kind of be able to be taken set as a lead in a movie. i had a cast and crew that were super supportive and i am so beyond grateful for joseph," she says as she rests her hand on his knee, "he's been such an amazing colleague and also friend."
joseph sets both of his hands on top of adria's and smacks his teeth, "oh, you're terribly kind. this experience alongside you has been a dream, darling. i had a wonderful time with the rest of the cast and being able to play a character with such depth and passion as elijah for mia." he tells the interviewer.
krista smiles, "your characters, mia and elijah, have such a strong, confusing and deep connection! i have to ask, was it a struggle to portray that type of relationship?" she asks.
adria nods her head, "no, i have been through a relationship similar to what elijah and mia have and it sort of like gave me something to branch off of and i used it to tap into my inner heartbreak and happiness." adria answers, earning a nod from krista.
both adria and krista turn to joseph, "yeah, i agree with adria, i used my past heartbreaks as well to kind of fuel the emotions built up in elijah and how he tended to leg it when mia finally confronted him about being as daft as he is when it comes to really creating the relationship he wanted with her. the writers executed the writing for this movie beautifully." he tells krista.
"speaking of relationships and heartbreaks, let's take a gander into your secrets." krista says as she crosses her legs. adria and joseph awkwardly nod as they waited for the woman in front of them to ask the questions everyone's been wondering about them.
krista looks between the two and smiles widely, "who is your celebrity crush?" she asks. adria throws her head back and groans, "oh come on, everyone knows my answer to this." adria chuckles as she drew her gaze back into the woman in front of her, "that man sebastian stan can get me any day of the week. i am being so deadass when i say that he is my biggest crush." adria answers while fanning himself.
joseph laughs and shakes his head before reaching his hand over to scratch his forearm, "i don't believe i have a celebrity crush, there are some very beautiful female celebrities but they haven't quite caught my eye just yet." he answers
adria nods her head, "jojo is picky about his women." she jokes while nudging his arm with her elbow. krista and joe laugh at her joke, "no, i am not picky about my women. i believe the right woman will come to me when it's the right time." he answers. after his sentence, joseph glances over at adria with a small smile forming on his lips as he watches her laugh and smile with krista.
"elijah and mia see each other and elijah sort of falls for her so that brings me to my next question, do you believe in love at first sight?" krista asks.
"yes." adria quickly replies while nodding her head.
joseph thinks for a second before nodding his head with a cheesy grin on his face, "i do believe in love at first sight, it's a beautiful thing."
"well, thank you two so much for your time, i hope to see you again!" krista concludes the interview with a smile.
"thank you so much for having us!"
"it's been a good time."
