BB: Adria Ruiz, it's such a pleasure to have you join us here at Billboard! How have you been?
AR: Oh yeah, it's such a great time being here!
BB: So, the last time you were here you had done your last appearance on Life Without You, was it a hard time saying goodbye to being such an adored character on the show despite being a background character?
AR: Oh 100%, I loved my cast mates and just popping in and out whenever they needed me to. It was definitely a kind of bittersweet moment, but now I'm here and it's, um, it's been amazing.
BB: We heard that Joseph Quinn was going to be playing your love interest in the upcoming movie Late At Night, can you tell us a little bit about that?
AR: Ah, so the good news travels fast, haha. So, I found out that Joseph was playing my love interest because he messaged me on instagram and told me he was excited to work with me in this movie so, yeah that's all there is to it.
BB: We heard about fans going crazy over the comments between you and Joseph, are you two as close as fans think?
AR: Far from it, as a matter of fact, I don't really know him that well but I've checked out some of his works and he's a very talented actor. I'm just hoping that he and I can bring our strongest acting for this movie and make it the best romantic movie ever, aside from like, The Notebook or something.
BB: We met with the writers of the movie and they revealed that there's a scene that will have everyone chugging a glass of water. Have you read that scene?
AR: Yes, that scene is... it's definitely something I've never done before in any of my works but I'm excited to bring it to life everyone!
BB: We have to ask..
AR: Oh no, should I run away now or later?
BB: Are there any love interests in your life right now? I know you were rumored to be with Xolo Maridueña, but it was never confirmed nor denied by the two of you.
AR: Xolo and I are great friends, no, we've never dated or anything like that. I've known him since he was 10 and I was like, I don't know, like 13? Anyways, no, there's no love interest and Xolo and I are completely platonic friends.
