Chapter 5: A True Meeting

(Y/N)'S POV

I let out a breath of air as I intently stared at the entrance to the small confined building, he's in there isn't he? It wouldn't hurt to see him- nope nope correct it would hurt.. my pride-

Anyways I don't even know how to get off this tower like structure, should I do what Sunny did? Ya sure why not, I might as well throw my dignity in the trash right now, oh wait it's already gone.

Welp here I am standing on the railing slightly wobbling back and forth as I'm stuck looking down. I'll be fine.. I kept repeating in my head over and over again.

Nope I'm gonna get off the railing I am not- before I could finish my thoughts and fully get off the railing I lost my footing and fell forward falling towards the ball pit (your welcome guys I helped you fall 🥺).

I put my hands over my mouth and I shut my eyes tight, bracing for the impact, and before I knew it the imact from the hard plastic balls came and my body collided with the ball pit.

"Jeez that hurt.." I slowly mumbled as I rubbed the top of my head, I slowly stood up as I waddled threw the huge asorment of colorful plastic balls.

I got out of the ball pit soon after as I looked back towards the nap time area, if the moon guy is in there should I really confront him about last night?

Threw the tented glass of two windows at the front of the small building I could see a pair of red glowing eyes staring back at me. "Creepy.." I muttered under my breath, I quickly snapped my eyes away from the obvious moon guy standing less than 10 feet from me.

I weighed out the pros and cons and just decided that I wanted to take a nap and if he talks to me then I'll talk to him. Piece of cake right?

I looked back at the building seeing that the moon animatronic had gone further into the building leaving me to see only a faint glow of red.

I sighed as I slowly walked that way, I soon reached the building as I stepped into the dark area. I looked around at the tons of sleeping children.

As I was looking over them I saw that one of them was having a nightmare I quickly walked over to the poor kid as I crouched down next to them.

I surprisingly was able to touch the kid, had they been able to see me this whole time? Pushing that question aside I gently ran my fingers across the cheek of the child.

They slowly opened their eyes a little as they looked at me "shhh.. it's ok, it was just a dream.. your safe" I quietly whispered. The child slowly nodded at me before closing their eyes again and quickly drifting back off into a peaceful slumber.

I sighed happily, it wasn't often that I got the chance to help someone but when I did you felt peaceful bliss. I quickly stood up as I turned to the side and- OH LORD JESUS-!

I jumped in my skin as the moon animatronics face was only inches away from mine, "WHAT THE-" He quickly covered my mouth before I could scream, his hand was definitely cold it sent shivers down my spine as soon as we made contact, how did I not notice he was there in the first place!?

I stared at him slowly feeling my face heat up, what the hell id wrong with me!? I thought feeling my heart pounding in my chest but not just from him scaring the living daylights out of me.

"Be quiet Sun I won't.." he muttered under his breath looking to the side before looking back at me, "How did you do that?" He whispered towards me.

He slowly took his hand off my mouth before I slowly whispered "what do you mean?" He looked at me a moment before responding in a low whisper "The kid.. they aren't shaking anymore, how did you do that?" I looked at him slightly shocked.

"Aren't you programmed to know how?" I silently questioned, he just shrugged before saying "The kids, most of them are scared of me.. even getting that close to any of them would send them into a panic attack." He quietly stated crossing his arms before turning around and sitting down against the wall further in the building crossing his legs as he continued watching the children.

I slowly walked over and sat next to him watching them as well, "Instinct" I quietly whispered not moving my gaze away from the sleeping forms all over the room.

I could feel that his eyes moved towards me as he whispered back a small "what?" I slowly looked at him, my (E/C) eyes locking with his.

"I said 'instinct', every kid is different in their needs so sometimes you have to rely on instinct to help.. oh and I think kids are scared of you because some of them might think your scary or think you'll hurt them if they're bad.." I said trailing off my sentence.

He looked sort of surprised by what I said before he slowly raised his hand and pated my head as he muttered out a small "thanks". I smiled at him before I looked back at the children as he did too.

"Moon" he quietly said, now it was my turn to be confused "what?" He sighed before replying "My name is Moondrop, just like Sun goes by many names I kinda do too.. you can call me Moon." He said almost seeming proud of such an introduction.

I slowly nodded as he whispered a small "Shut up Sun stop being like that.." I laughed quietly, had they been able to talk to each other threw their minds this whole time?

Whatever the case may be I'm just happy that I'm not embarrassing myself like the night before, I felt tired as I yawned, jeez I need an energy refill.

"You need to sleep" Moon whispered definitely directing those words towards me. I felt to tired to argue so I just nodded complying with his words.

I slowly leans my body against his arm, unlike last night he was now cold but I didn't mind. I slowly hugged my arms around his waist leaning more so into his tall figure, my mind clearly wasn't thinking straight because normally I would be to flustered to do anything of the sort.

Moon didn't say anything but I knew he was watching my half awake figure. "Night Moon.." I muttered under my breath giving his arm a small peck not thinking about it.

I felt him slightly tense but soon relax as my mind quickly slipped into darkness unknowing that if I was awake for a second longer I would've heard it..

"Night (Y/N).."

Hey guys! So I've decided to try and make this chapter extra long for y'all since I've been gone off and on. I'm trying to get better about writing more it's just been hard with school y'know?

Anyways shout out for today is yasminelang69 who is a good person and you should definitely follow them as well as check out their book! I know it only has one chapter so far but I think it's gonna turn out to be a pretty good story.

I'm so mad because Wattpad tried to delete almost all the hard work I've done on this chapter >:(

Welp anyways I got it back so I'm good! Alright have a good day/night and stay hydrated my fellow people!
