A Fan Calls Your Phone

Harry: "Hello" you say into your phone, continuing to work on your schoolwork as you wait for a response. "Is this (Y/N)?" the voice of a young, British girl asks and you set your pen down. "Yes? And who is this?" you ask. "Oh, I'm Maddie... I'm a big fan of One Direction," she says and you raise an eyebrow at how she got your number. "It's my birthday so I thought I would try this number and see if anyone picked up" she adds. "Oh, how old are you Maddie?" you ask, genuinely interested because if she had enough guts to call you, you were at least going to make the conversation interesting. "I'm 16" "Oh, 16! That's a fun age, are you excited? What are your plans for the day?" you ask, leaning back in your seat. "Oh, I'm very excited. My mom and dad are taking me out later for dinner and I'm seeing the boys this weekend, that's my gift. What are you doing today?" she asks and you chuckle. "Homework, your plans sound so much better though! If you give me your twitter info, I'll make sure Harry gives you a happy birthday tweet" you tell her, carefully writing down her twitter name before ending the call with one last happy birthday.

Liam: "Hello?" you question, answering the unknown number that's been calling your phone. "Hello? Is this (Y/N)?" the unfamiliar voice asks and you sigh. A fan has somehow gotten your number. "Yes, who's this?" you ask. "Amber... I love One Direction! I voted for them every week during the X-Factor! How are you, is Liam there?" she asks and you smile. "Oh well thank you. I'm fine, Liam's in the backyard... I'm making him do yard work, would you like to speak with him?" you question because it wasn't everyday a fan calls your phone who's been around as long as she has. "Oh no, really I just wanted to talk to someone. I don't want to interrupt his yard work" she assures you and you smile before telling her you have to go because Liam has managed to break the table on the back deck.

Niall: "Hello?" you ask after answering your phone, watching as Niall and Zayn play video games. "Oh my gosh, you answered!" a female voice says on the other end. "Yes I did... can I ask who's calling" you question. "I'm Katie...I can't believe you answered! I thought I'd just call it and see what happened but you actually answered. Now I don't know what to say" she says and you chuckle softly. "Well, I did! What are you doing Katie?" you ask, trying to help her with her inability to talk. "Oh, I'm just sitting at home. I didn't go to school because I was sick. Are you with Niall?" she asks and you answer with a yes. "Would you like to talk to him?" you ask, watching as Niall turns his head towards you. "Oh no, I really just wanted to see if someone would answer and you did. I'll let you go now," she says and you smile. "Alright, well I hope you feel better Katie" you say before bidding her goodbye.

Louis: "Hello?" you ask answer the call from the unfamiliar number. "(y/n)??" the voice questions. "Yes?" you reply with confusion as muffled squealing comes over the receiver. It clicks then. Some fan had gotten your number. It didn't happen very often, but when it did you were very impressed. Your boyfriend's fan base was a little crazy. The receiver is silent for a moment and then you hear "Hi (y/n)." you laugh. "Hi love, how you are?" you ask making conversation. "I'm great!" the fan almost shouts "How are about you? How are you and Lou?" she jumps to the point quicker than even she had expected. You smirk again "I am well, and we are doing great. Thank you for asking." "Where is he at today?" she asks. "Well what does Twitter say?" you ask her not wanting to spend a lot of time talking about your boyfriend. "They're saying he's at the studio." She answers. "Well then let's go with that then," you reassure her. You answer a few more of her questions, while you ask a little bit more about her before letting her know you were going to have to go. She was very gracious for your time and for even answering the phone. You thank her for acting the way she did and told her that you would let Lou know that you had called.

Zayn: It was the third time his phone had rang with the same number that you didn't recognize. You finally decided to answer it being that he was in the shower and that it might be something important. "Hello?" you answer suspiciously before realizing by the gasp on the other end that this phone call was of no immediate importance. You hadn't had a fan get ahold of his number in a while so you just continued the conversation. "Is this (y/n)?" the fan asks with a shaky voice. "Yes love, what can I do for you?" you respond normally. There was a pause before she answered, "Umm...I wasn't really expecting anyone to answer, especially you." "Well what's your name love?" you ask her trying to give the conversation a boost. "Kaitlyn." She says. "Well it was very nice talking to you Kaitlyn but I have to go, Zayn is finishing up in the shower and we have plans I have to start getting ready for." You explain. "Oh my gosh absolutely. Thank you so much for talking to me." She says calming down. "Of course babe, I'll let Zayn know you called." You say before saying goodbye and walking into the bathroom with the news that your boyfriend was going to have to change his number again.
