Tahny

"Thai? Bro are you fucking wit me?" We both laughed as I got up and jumped into a hug. He swung me, causing us to laugh more as he just held me in his arms. I reached down, feeling my skirt ride up on my thighs. "Hold on hold on my ass is gonna be out for everybody to see in two seconds." Thai put me down, smiling his pearly whites at me.

Thai Vasquez, the man I thought was going to be my High School Sweet Heart and rule the world with me. He's Hispanic, his hair wavy and dark, a pair of eyes matching the same brown shade. He had a little mustache and beard now, looking way older than the last time I seen him. He was dressed in a white shirt with graphic letters and drawings on it, pairing it with black jeans and black and white Jordans. He wasn't scrawny anymore, more muscle filling out his form and making him look solid. He wasn't overly buff, just enough to show he works out and I'm sure under that shirt there is a gorgeous set of abs to show his results.

Thai just kept smiling, making me smile and look away. "You look even more beautiful Tahny, better than in high school." I smiled more, rolling my eyes. "Stop flirting, you look good too Thai, you damn sure aint no lil boy no mo." It was his turn to roll his eyes, causing me to laugh since he hated when I called him a lil boy. "I'm literally eight months younger than you, I aint no lil boy. And you can't be talkin when you haven't even grown half a inch since last time I saw you." I chuckle, sitting down on my stool and him following my lead and sitting beside me. "How have you been? I haven't seen you since graduation, after our break up." A pinch of sadness hit my chest at the mention of how we ended our year. It was wrong and immature and I'm glad I let him go, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to grow as individuals. He answered my question with, "I've been doing good. I went to Notre Dam University like I wanted and studied business. I graduated last month actually. After that I moved back in with my folks and just staying there until I find a good job with a good enough pay to get my own place." I lit up at the mention of his parents. They are the sweetest people with the kindest hearts. "How are your parents? Oh I would love to see them again!"

Thai gave a pucker of his lips, looking off to the side with a sad expression. I paused, realization hitting me that they must have already passed away. When we were together, they were both old and sickly. I placed my hand on his knee, getting his attention back to me. "I'm sorry Thai, I didn't know." He shook his head, smiling once again. "Nah it's cool, it happened right before I graduated college. My ma died first from cancer and my dad from grief, it shook the whole family and I haven't spoken to anyone other then my siblings." I nodded sympathetically, letting him speak. "I'm sorry you went through that. It must be hard losing them right before the biggest step of your life. But you'll be okay because you've always been strong. I have never seen you cry a single tear and I know you'll handle something like this. Just use it as your strength and not your weakness."

Thai

We talked for what felt like hours. Speaking on the past, the present and our plans for the future. We talked about our troubles, the tribulations we've been going through and all about her court case she's working on now. We even spoke on our breakup, talking it out like mature adults unlike the emotional screaming that took place that night. She spoke on what she did wrong and I admitted to seeing how toxic I was. We apologized for everything and mutually agreed that that breakup was probably the best decision we ever made. As we spoke, I couldn't take my eyes off her. Tahny was just as beautiful as the time we were together, if not then even more. Her skin was glowing and her eyes sparkling as we talked about her nail career. She was so passionate and as she rambled on, I couldn't help but catch myself starring at her glossy lips. I snapped my gaze back up to her eyes, listening to her words once again. "I'm sorry, I'm rambling now." I shook my head, smiling softly. "No no it's fine, it's nice hearing your voice again. You have no idea how much I've missed you Tahny." Her cheeks lit up, her smile growing as I told her my feelings. "I never realized how much I missed you until I saw you again tonight." She spoke so softly I could barely hear her over the music. I leaned in, being cautious of my movements as to not scare her away when I just got to her after over four years. "Do you want to dance?" Tahny instantly nodded to my question.
