It was amazing I haven't taken a shower in so long. I sighed in content as I put the new clothes in and put all my stuff in my bag. I walked out of the room to see the lady carol waiting for me. "Feel better?", "Yes, a lot better, thank you". She smiled and nodded "C'mon, let's get you a room". She walked up the medal stairs where I once saw the boy. She led me to a jail cell that was empty, with only a clean bed and sheets. Also with a dresser that sat in front of the bed "Here, if you're hungry we have food at the bottom and have whatever you want". I nodded and placed my things down in the corner sitting down on the bed looking around. "Yeah, I don't know why they keep bringing random people. Just more mouths to feed". A voice rang, and I heard footsteps. It was that boy again. "Well, she was all alone", a boy next to him said. "Yeah, they should have kept it that way". The other boy replied. "What are you guys doing?". I looked over and saw who it was. My face felt like it was the other kid. "I was just telling her about the book club", Patrick said. "Heh! That's for babies!" the boy replied rudely. "I was just inviting her to come with me". Patrick defended. "We have chores, let's go", he said sternly before leaving. "I'm sorry about him". Patrick turned back to me. "It's whatever", I said. "I can show you around if you would like?", Patrick asked. "I would like to, thank you!" I said. He nodded and smiled as he showed me around the place. At this point we were outside walking around on the field as he told me random things. We started heading back as I was stopped by Rick. "Are you any good at taking care of animals?", Rick asked. "I mean.. I guess you could say that?", I answered. "Great, my son Carl has chores such as gardening and taking care of the animals. We don't have enough hands to help him. So, maybe you could?". "Yeah sure, I don't mind! But, may I ask whose Carl though?". I
