December 11th, In the Training Hall of the Tokyo Ninken Academy

Riley was taken to the academy's infirmary to heal up. Kiba was at the Ninken Academy's training hall, while putting up with Jasmine's arrogant bullying. Jasmine and her flunkies were howling like wolves as a way to insult Kiba for his wolf heritage.
"Hey, Kiba, can you translate this?" asked the beagle, continuing to howl afterwards.
"This is your last warning..." Kiba snarled. But Jasmine and her flunkies continued to insult him. Kiba folded back his ears and pulled his lips back in a snarl. Kiba snarled and started walking towards Jasmine and her flunkies. Kiba got closer and closer. Jasmine noticed Kiba walking closer.
"Get 'em." she said to the King Charles Spaniel and beagle. Then they pulled out their kunai knives and pointed them at Kiba, letting him know to back off.
"Heh, the three of you are all bark and no bite." said Kiba. Jasmine signaled her flunkies to lower their kunai knives.
"If you really want me to prove how worthless you are, let's have a fight right now?" said Jasmine.
"A battle, huh?" asked Kiba.
"If you think I'm wrong, then take your best shot." said Jasmine.
"Against you? Not a chance," Kiba replied.
"What's wrong? Are you just a scared little puppy, or are you afraid to lay a paw on me because my grandfather is the leader of this village?" "No, I just don't have to prove anything to you, and I don't care if he's Queen of England!" Kiba replied.
"If that's the case, I guess wolf-dogs aren't so great after all." Jasmine continued to taunt Kiba.
"That's enough!" Skye shouted and surprised Kiba.
"Huh, Skye?" said Kiba.
"Don't pick on Kiba!" Skye exclaimed. She, Hunter, Frankie, and Dakota all jumped off the bleachers and onto the dirt-covered field and joined Kiba.
"You guys..." said Kiba.
"If you want to fight somebody, fight me!" said Dakota.
"Me? Fight you? You're shorter than Kiba and Skye. You're so much of a shrimp that I could kick you all the way around this training hall, in fact, I could kick you around this whole academy!" Jasmine ridiculed.
"Don't let my size fool you," Dakota replied. "I maybe small, but I pack a punch!"
"I don't like hurting women," Frankie stepped in. "But if it's for Kiba, I'll kick your ass all the way to New Jersey!"
"You might be able to beat me...only if your brain wasn't so much tinier than your muscles." Jasmine roasted Frankie.
"If you're really okay with picking on Kiba, then I'll show you my skills as a kunoichi!" Skye stepped in.
"Don't flatter yourself," Jasmine replied. "We all know wouldn't even be here if Kiba declined his invitation to this village."
"So what? Even if he did, I would have agreed with his decision either way!" Skye replied. Then Kiba saw the spirit of his mother howling behind one of the pillars. That triggered something inside of Kiba. Then Kiba surrounded himself in a mystical power. Then Kiba started smiling confidently.
"Jasmine Sakotōshi, I accept your challenge!" he said.
"Kiba?" said Frankie. "Is it still you?" "Skye, Hunter, Dakota, Frankie," said Kiba.
"Thanks for standing up for me, why don't I take it from here?"
"Um, okay." said Skye.
"Good luck." added Hunter.
"Hm, who needs luck, I'm all skill!" Kiba replied. Skye, Hunter, Dakota, and Frankie jumped back up onto the bleachers.
"Just to make sure I don't cause any serious harm, I won't use my rope spear, my ninjatō, or any of my weapons," said Kiba.
"Besides, luck already ran out when you challenged me and roasted my best friends."
What? Is this really the same scrawny fleabag as before? Jasmine thought.
"What's wrong? You look rather pale." said Kiba.
"I'm fine," Jasmine replied. "Now let's get this over with!"
"Hm, fine by me." Kiba proudly declared. The rest of the pups in the class were shocked and confused because they were so used to the bashful and quiet Kiba.
"Is that really Kiba?" asked Dakota. "He sounds different."
"Your guess is as good as mine." Hunter replied.
"That can't be Kiba," Skye added. "Even if it is, this Kiba sounds way more confident and self assured."
"I don't know what's going on," said Frankie. "And I don't really care, but if Kiba's like this, it's gonna be one helluva match!"
Kiba... Skye thought.
Well, I guess there's no talking them out of this. Shido Sensei thought. Kiba did some back flips to get some distance and prepare for his match against Jasmine.
"Whenever you're ready, you can begin." said Shido Sensei. While keeping his eyes on Jasmine, Kiba took a bow.
"Save your sense of honor for someone who cares." Jasmine laughed and scoffed. Jasmine dashed and hit Kiba in the face. Kiba and Jasmine were going head to head. Kiba and Jasmine were punching, kicking, and countering each other's blows. Jasmine kicked Kiba in his stomach.
"OOF!" he said. Kiba got right back in it and tried to roundhouse kick Jasmine, but Jasmine leaned back to dodge, then she did some back flips to get some distance. Then she took four shuriken out of her holster.
"Crap..." Kiba said.
"Hey, that's not fair! Kiba's not using any weapons, so why is she...?" said Dakota.
"Hey, stop!" said Shido Sensei. "Keep your lips zipped!" Jasmine talked back. Then Jasmine threw all four shuriken, but Kiba evaded them all.
"Don't get too comfortable." said Jasmine. Then Kiba saw dozens more shuriken coming at him from all directions.
So, she used the Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu... Kiba thought. Then Kiba got pierced by all thirty-six shuriken and it was a bloody incident. Skye gasped.
"No! Kiba!" Hunter cried.
"C'mon, Jasmine, that's over kill!" said Mazaki. "Yeah, over kill!" Yoshi echoed.
"Who cares?" Jasmine replied, feeling no remorse. But then the illusion wore off and everyone saw that it was really a wooden log.
"A substitution?" said Jasmine.
"Thank goodness..." Skye said, feeling breathless.
"Where's the real Kiba?" asked Frankie.
"Hey, come out and fight me, you flea-infested mongrel!" said Jasmine.
"As you wish!" said Kiba. He reappeared in front of Jasmine.
"Hello," he taunted. Kiba went down to the ground, grabbed Jasmine's legs, and did a scissor leg takedown.
"You like that move? I learned it from Skye!" said Kiba. Skye blushed moderately under her fur.
"You'd actually be more of a challenge if you focused more on your training than your physical appearance." said Kiba with a laugh.
"Yeah, laugh it up, don't get too cocky just yet." Jasmine replied.
"Uh oh, that's not good..." said Frankie.
"What?" asked Dakota.
"Just look closely, Jasmine's lying on her back and Kiba's underside is completely exposed, so Jasmine's got a clear shot!" Frankie explained.
"Oh, yeah, that is a pickle..." Dakota replied.
"Kiba, back away, quick! She's going to kick you in your weak spot!" Skye called out.
"Too late, you let your guard down!" said Jasmine. Then she summoned all the strength in her right leg and kicked Kiba in his scrotum, but somehow, Kiba didn't feel a thing and Jasmine was the one who got hurt. Then she started screaming in excruciating pain because she hurt her foot.
"You filthy half-blood, what'd you do!?" Jasmine said, getting angry.
"Hm, I guess I made a smart decision wearing the sports cup Roscoe got me for my birthday," said Kiba. "Did you actually think I'd fall into the same trap after seeing it once already?"
"You only pretended to let your guard down, didn't you!?" said Jasmine.
"You caught on too late," Kiba replied. "I was playing possum, and you fell right for it."
"When did you figure me out?" asked Jasmine.
Seconds ago. Kiba thought. "The moment this match started." Kiba said out loud. A blue-eyed Siberian husky named Ethan was on the bleachers and he saw everything.
"Mmm..." Ethan said, feeling intrigued by Kiba.
"Now it's my turn!"Kiba tried to axe kick Jasmine, but Jasmine rolled away to escape. Jasmine got up and tried to punch Kiba, but Kiba blocked it and countered with a swift sideways punch to Jasmine's chest and finished the combo by sideways upper kicking Jasmine in her chin, sending her flying a few feet away from him and making her land flat on her back. "That's a move I like to call Canine Counter." said Kiba. Jasmine got back up and walked closer to Kiba.
"Look, I really don't want to cause any more harm, so why don't you throw in the towel and finish this match with honor? Besides, I don't like hurting women." said Kiba.
"I don't want your sympathy," Jasmine replied. She took a kunai knife out of her holster.
"You're about to find out why love and kindness gets you nowhere," said Jasmine. Jasmine dashed toward Kiba, then she started slashing at him with her kunai knife. Kiba kept dodging the slashes like it was no problem. After about 21 slashes, Jasmine stopped.
"If you really want to keep this up," Kiba said. "Then I guess I have no choice but to use it."
"Use what? What's he talking about?" asked Dakota.
Kiba, what're you trying to do?" Skye thought. Jasmine tried to attack Kiba again, but Kiba did a backflip to kick Jasmine, and that stunned her. Then Kiba walked closer to Jasmine.
"I don't use this move very often, but I hope you like it, because I learned it from a squirrel." said Kiba. The spirit of Kiba's mother appeared and gave her son a burst of energy for his attack, then Kiba used that energy and attacked five of Jasmine's pressure points, completely disorienting her and making her fall down.
"My...my body, I can't move," said Jasmine. "What'd you do to me?"
"I attacked your pressure points," Kiba replied. "I promised Hanzo I wouldn't use this move unless it was an emergency, but I had no choice." Then Kiba grabbed Jasmine by her hair, getting ready to strike her.
"Kiba, stop!" Shido Sensei ordered.
"Is he losing his mind?" asked Hunter.
"Kiba, don't do it!" Skye cried. Kiba looked at Jasmine with an intimidating expression and Jasmine was petrified. Kiba extended his claws. "When anyone insults me for my heritage, picks on me, or disses, they meet a very bad end," said Kiba. Kiba swiped his claw, but he stopped himself in his tracks, much to everyone's surprise and confusion.
"Honk!" Kiba said, honking Jasmine's snout. Then he dropped her onto the ground, still leaving her petrified. Everyone was in total shock. Kiba walked away and decided to walk back up to the bleachers to join Hunter, Skye, Dakota, and Frankie.
"Ummm...good job." Hunter said, feeling spooked. Skye, Hunter, Dakota, and Frankie could still feel the mysterious aura coming from Kiba, but after a few seconds, the energy had diminished.
"Are you guys okay?" asked Kiba. "You look like you saw a ghost."
"Are you still the real Kiba?" asked Dakota. "What's my mom's name?"
"Okay, what's going on?" asked Kiba. "Of course I'm the real Kiba."
"Are you sure?" Dakota asked, feeling suspicious.
"I'm positive, I'm still the real Kiba." Kiba replied.
"Oookay..." said Dakota.
"You had me worried there for a second," Skye said, hugging Kiba. Kiba blushed moderately under his fur and wagged his tail a little bit. After Skye stopped hugging Kiba, she saw a small cut on the chop of his muzzle.
"Um, Kiba," said Skye.
"Yeah?" Kiba answered.
"You have a small cut on your muzzle." said Skye. Skye took out her compact mirror, opened it, and showed Kiba his reflection. Kiba looked at his reflection and noticed the small cut on his muzzle.
"Ehh, I've had worse." said Kiba. Mazaki and Yoshi picked up Jasmine and carried her to the infirmary since she was disoriented by Kiba's pressure point attack.
