"Then why did this a simple pendant mean so much to you?" She wasn't ready for this question. He saw her fidgeting with the hem of her Saari. Without any words. Kneeling, he sat down infront her. Took her soft palms in his. drawing her attention, spoke out cautiously..

"Bondita, don't you think we should give 'us' a chance...!" He paused to see her reaction. Her brows creased in confusion. He sighed.

"Ok. Let come to the point directly. Bondita, the promise our families made.... before our birth and when we were child, don't you think we..we should try to fulfill those. I..I want that Bondita. I want to start over again. make those promises again in my full sense. will you give me this chance?" His eyes were filled with hope. She did want but couldn't remove her gaze from him. felt him gently caressing her palm and proceeded " Bondita, I will try my best to fulfill them. I won't give you a chance to complain. Trust me!"

"A-Anirudh Babu what are you talking...?!" She stood up briskly and tried to pull her hand away but was tightened by him instead. "Bondita please! listen to me" he looked up to her, with pleading eyes. he knew she was nervous, scared or maybe unsure because of his sudden proposal. He needed to be more specific.

"Bondita I can understand what you have been through all these years. You didn't think about yourself even though you had chance. You have carried all the burden on your shoulder. Endured. All alone! They said " He tightened their interwining hands. Overwhelming sense of gratefulness flooded in his eyes. tranquil smile lingered on lips as he continued "That We are each other's Sunshine. and you are, My sunshine in true sense. You brightened my spirit with the sunshine you add to my life. It's your brilliance Bondita, that filled the corners of my life. Now without you my life is nothing but pitch of darkness. Please give me the chance to fullfill my responsibility too"

They kept looking at each other on end. One in anticipation and another one in ambivalence. smiling gently she wiped his tears away and voiced.."Anirudh Babu, You don't have to do anything just to fulfill their promise. Don't put yourself in distress "

"Distress!!!" He shook his head laughing slightly. that caught her in bewilderment. "You are the soothing beat of my heart, Bondita." locking her in his deep oceanic eyes, continued "I don't know since when I have this kind of feeling for you. Even after realising, I haven't confessed to you, neither I know how to describe my feelings in words. All I want is to hold your hands forever. I wish to grow old with you Bondita. I lov....."

"Anirudh no...." She covered his mouth with palms and nodded sideways. Drops of Tears rolled down her cheeks. Anirudh removed her palms from his mouth and placed that on his cheeks. "Please Bondita, don't stop me. Today let me express my feelings. You don't have to answer now. Take your time. I will wait forever. Whether you want to give me a chance or not is entirely your choice. I won't force you ever. I just want you to know that you meant the world to me. You are my Sunshine and you are my shade as well.three words are not enough, still I want to say " squeezing her hands a little, immersing deep into her doe shaped tears spirkling eyes, he confessed heartily "I love you...Bondita"

A sudden tranquil sensation washed over his system, urging him to close his eyes for a moment and to feel his heart stirring in euphoria. A complacent smile appeared on his lips after expressing those feelings as if those were reserved deep inside of his heart for long time. Her heart hammered hard against ribcage. breathing heavily she saw him looking at her with his soulful brown eyes. She felt herself being pulled deep into them... irresistibly. slowly closing the gap between them she forwarded one of her hand to touch him. Traced his whole face as if was trying to be confirmed whether he was for real. She heard much coveted words of her life. words she would desired to hear from him. From her very childhood she dreamt of her Krishna. Waited for him but never thought that wheels of destiny would bring him to her like this!
