Down, down into the void I go,
Away from the light, away from the dark,
Down, down in the void's depths,
The screams of my family swirling in my ears as I go.
Down, down away from the light,
The song of the birds finally takes its flight,
Oh how I wish I could hear it one more time,
As I go further away from the tunnel's light.
Down, down, into the void I go,
As my mind slowly forgets everything I've ever known.
The memories I had on this sullen Earth has faded away,
As down, down into the void I go.
