A Movie Type Of Love

I want the type of love I witness in the movies,
I want the type of love that I read in the books.
I gaze at the women,
wondering what is so different about me and them,
wondering why they can receive that love
but I cannot.
I watch the way they act,
take note of the way they dress
and how they look.
I wonder if it would make a difference if I looked more like them,
or perhaps it would make a difference if the men in those movies existed in real life.
I hear of them,
but only through old tales and movies,
I've never witnessed a man to be so loving and caring,
so tender with another person's heart.
So, where are they?
Where do they hide?
When will I be lucky enough to meet someone who will finally see the purity within me and help to mend my broken heart that has been a victim to many?
When is it my turn to just be loved?
