"Also, here's the invitation for the engagement party. You're the first person to receive it." Abigail gave her an invitation card.

Eurielle accepted the card and noticed a dtrange scent coming from it.

*Thump*

*Thump*

Suddenly, her heart started palpitating.

*Beeeeeeeeeeeeep—*

Eurielle heard something ringing.

"Lady Eurielle?"

"Ugh-" Eurielle touched her forehead.

She felt immense pain surging inside her head.

"Lady? Are you alright?"

Abigail's voice was like in the deep waters. She couldn't hear her properly.

In the midst of the ringing, Eurielle remembered something.

She recalled the memories she had in her past life.

The small and suffocating room, the food she ate, the books she read, her limited freedom, and the same scent which came from Abigail's letters.

"Don't forget to read."
"Get enough sleep."
"Don't try to escape."

That's right.

The scented paper from those letters were similar. It was totally the same.

"Lady Eurielle?"

Eurielle's hearing was finally clear.

The headache was also gone and there was no more ringing.

"My lady."

Eurielle saw Nathalia beside her as well as the escort knight.

Other maids also surrounded her and they looked worried.

"Are you alright, Lady Eurielle?" Abigail asked worriedly.

"Yes, I'm fine. I apologize."

"Thank goodness, I was worried for a second."

"I must thank Lady Abigail for the tea but I'm afraid I have to go now." Eurielle stood up from her seat.

"Already?"

"Yes. Thank you for the hospitality, Lady Abigail."

"The pleasure is mine."

Nathalia and the knight escort left with Eurielle and went home.

"...."

*Sigh*

Abigail sighed after Eurielle left then showed a grin.

She saw Eurielle's reaction after receiving the invitation card.

Meaning, she must've felt upset. Yes. She should just drop the act and show her true colors.

Eurielle is still in love with the prince... That's what Abigail thought.

"My lady, this is the thing you asked for."

A maidservant handed Abigail a small bottle. A perfume.

"Ah, just put it here."

The maid and others left after Abigail told them to go.

"Hahh,"

Abigail picked up the small bottle and opened the lid.

A certain scent scattered as the lid got opened and it was also familiar to her.

"I'm sure she'll remember it soon."

.
.
.

"My lady."

"Hm..."

Eurielle got woken up by Nathalia.

"We've already arrived at the mansion."

"Ah. Okay."

Eurielle looked outside and it was already night. She must've slept really well while the ride was going on.

The invitation letter was still with her and its scent just makes her uncomfortable.

"Nathalia, you keep this."

"Yes, my lady."

She got off the carriage and went inside the estate.

.
.
The next day...
.
.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Nathalia?"

The door opened and Nathalia entered her room.

"A messenger from Sir Clayton Edevane is here. He's looking for you."

After waking up, all Eurielle did was lie on her bed and did nothing. It was her favorite hobby so far.

"Who is he?" She asked as she sat up from the bed.

"Please follow me." Nathalia uttered.

Like she suggested, Eurielle just followed Nathalia until she met that certain messenger.

...

"Greetings, my lady." The man bowed.

"Huh."

Eurielle was confused for a bit.

Surely, the man in front of her looked overly familiar.

Eurielle looked at Nathalia and then looked at the man once again.

Dark blue hair, purple-colored eyes, and incomparable beauty yet somehow similar to each other.

"Nathalia, are you siblings?" She asked, forgetting thr fact that she already saw Nathan last time.

"Yes, my lady." Nathalia answered.

"Right.."

"My name is Nathan. The Grand Duke sent me to Sir Clayton for assistance. I'm here to relay a message for Lady Deidamus." Nathan spoke up.

They were twins indeed. The way they respond, act, and behave are truly similar.

"What is it?"

"Sir Clayton sent a carriage for the lady to ride. He said he wanted to take you on a date."

"....Date....?"
