After finishing school without running into André, dad was the one to take me home. When I got home I finished whatever homework I had left. After that I started on the jerseys for the game tomorrow. Halfway through the doorbell rang and I was sure it was Leo so I got up to get ready.

I hid the jerseys just in case they decide to come into my room when I'm training, then I started getting dressed in my workout/training clothes.

When I made my way down I found Leo talking to Luciano while waiting for me. Luciano left after telling him one last thing. We started making our way to the gym.

"So, how has school been?"

"It's fine, it's been pretty easy so far but like everybody else it's boring. But I mean I'd rather have something to do rather than staying at home doing nothing."

"That's how it was for us as well, although we had a job waiting for us after highschool our dads wouldn't hand off the business to us unless we at least graduated highschool with decent grades. After graduating highschool we all still went to college to study business so that we don't ruin what our dads worked so hard to build. Do you know what you want to do after highschool?"

"Not really, when I was in America I was going to graduate and just work my ass off, but now I don't know what to do. I'll probably go to college. I just don't know what to study. Although I do have a couple more years to think about it, so I'm not in a rush."

"You're right about that. Now let's get started." He said as we made it to the gym.

After Training

"You need to work a little more on the last couple moves we did, but other than that you did good." He said as we are making our way out of the gym with towels in our hands.

"Thanks, also I forgot to ask you, are you going to the game tomorrow? The one where Gio and Enzo are going to be in. I figured Emiliano and Niccoló would also be playing considering the stick together."

"Yeah the whole family will be there except me and Marcello, we have to stay behind to make sure nobody tries anything while the family is out. Everytime they have a game we switch out who stays."

"Alright, will you be staying or...?"

"YOU ARE NOT LEAVING LEONARDO!!" Dad yelled from the living room and started making his way towards us. "You're staying for dinner because I told your mother that I would feed you before you left. So go to Luciano's room shower and change, then come down for dinner. You too Val." He said and then shooed us off.

I left and headed to my room to quickly shower and get dressed so I can eat and finish the jerseys for tomorrow.

After we were done eating I excused myself saying I should get to bed. When I got to my room I retrieved the jerseys and finished them. It took me a while since I had to sew everything by hand considering I didn't have a sewing machine.

After finishing the jersey I put it in my backpack, put my phone in charge and went to bed.

The next morning on my way up to my class I caught a glimpse of André before I ran to class to avoid any confrontation that would ruin my day. When I sat in my seat I thought about how my life has changed. It's the first time in a long time that I'm looking forward to something.

A couple minutes after I sat down the girls made their way into the classroom and as usual Isla started our morning conversation.

Our first couple classes went by really fast and lunch came. After grabbing lunch we made our way outside and sat on the bleachers.

"Hey Val, you seem pretty excited today. Are you looking forward to anything?" Mia asked.

"Yeah I am. My brothers are going to be playing today after school. They play football. Ever since I came to Italy everybody has been paying attention to me and I didn't have that before, so it was a bit weird. But now I can support them and for once the attention will go to them. But I don't know how long that will last for."

"Well that's nice! Are you going to wear one of their jerseys?" Isla asked me this time.

"Well at first they both wanted me to wear theirs, so I took both of them, cut them in half, and sewed them together. That way I'm wearing both. Also can one of you guys come with me after school to the bathroom so I can change into it?" I don't want to run into André again without someone with me.

"Sure I'll do it since Isla has to go to a family dinner afterwards and Mia has piano class." Ava said.

"Thank you!!"

The rest of the day went by pretty fast and after telling Isla and Mia bye, me and Ava headed to the bathroom.

"Can I come with you to the game? I don't really have anything to do at home. If not that's okay, I just wanted to know." Ava said to me while I was changing in a stall.

"Of course you can, I don't mind having you there."

After I was done changing I came out of the stall and did a little twirl for Ava. We took a couple pictures and sent it on our group chat so Mia and Isla can see. I was glad to see no André when we left the bathroom.

When we got to the front of the school I saw dad waiting for me with Luciano driving and Vince in the back.

"Hey, what do you think?" I said as I gave them a whirl. "Also, is it okay if my friend comes with us?"

"It looks amazing neonata and yes she can come along with us."

They came in one of their many flashy cars and those tend to have 5 seats only, so I sat in between Vince and Ava. The car ride there was filled with small talk between me and Vince and sometimes Ava, only if she was asked a question.

We finally got to the school and we started making our way to the field. When we got there everybody else was already there. It was easy to spot them since we're a big family.

By the time I greeted everyone and chose my spot the game was about to begin.

...

Quick question, when is an age gap too big? Like where do you guys draw the line?
