Chauhan House

Today Chauhan house is getting decorated like a beautiful palace with lots of people moving here and there for preparations. Afterall today is the 70th birthday of Nand Kumar Chauhan. The head of the Chauhan family.

Damini Chauhan, the elder daughter-in-law of Nand Kumar Chauhan and Durga Chauhan, is setting the table along with her sister-in-law Ambika Chauhan. The others are already sitting on their respective places.

"Where is Mrunali?" Nand Kumar Chauhan asked making others, except Durga Chauhan and Suyash Chauhan, rolled their eyes. "Must be sleeping till now." Damini Chauhan said. "She is not like that. She is the first one to wake up in the whole house." Durga Chauhan said.

"Of course that's why she is still not here right dadi?" Isha Chauhan, daughter of Ambika Chauhan and Suresh Chauhan said. Just then they all hear a voice. "Sorry I'm late. Happy Birthday dadu!" It is none other than Mrunali Chauhan.

Mrunali touched her grandfather's feet as she wished him. "Thank you beta. Why are you so late?" Nand Kumar Chauhan asked. "Vo na dadu kal raat ko kaam karte karte late ho gaya tha toh uthne mein deri ho gayi." Mrunali said.

(Yesterday while doing completing some work stuff, it became quite late so I woke up late grandpa.)

"Yeah you're the only one who works right? We all just sit and laze around right?" Ambika Chauhan said. "Of course that's what you always do." Durga Chauhan said. "But mom-"

"Don't say anything more and eat your breakfast!" Durga Chauhan cut Ambika's words and said. "Di you too sit. Come." Suyash said and giving him a smile Mrunali sat beside him and had her breakfast while talking about the party's preperation with her brother.

(Elder sister)

At Suyash's office in house

Suyash was going through some mails when Mrunali entered there. "Yash have you checked the guest list properly? All of dadu's friends are coming right?" Mrunali asked making Suyash look up.

"Yes di I've checked it twice and don't worry they are all coming." Suyash replied standing up from his seat and hugging his sister by her shoulder. "That's good. And what about dadu's oldest friend Mr. Rathore and his family?" Mrunali asked.

"They are coming too. I've went to personally invite them after knowing about dadu's friendship with him." Suyash said. "My baby brother is so smart." Mrunali said pinching his cheeks.

"Di yrr! I'm not a baby so don't treat me like one." Suyash said. "To me you'll always be a baby." Mrunali said. "I can never win from you." Suyash said. "Of course you cannot!" Mrunali sain and both the siblings smiled at each other.

In evening

The Chauhan is very beautifully decorated. The fairly lights are shining brightly and the white lilies are making the decoration look elegant.

The guests have arrived and more are still arriving. Men are talking about business and deals while the women are talking about fashion and jewelleries.

Nand Kumar Chauhan entered along with his wife Durga Chauhan and all the guests cheered and wished Nand Kumar Chauhan as he passed by them.

Mrunali, Suyash and Gurmeet(eldest son of Ambika and Suresh Chauhan) touched their grandpa's feet and wishes him again. There was still time left for the cake cutting ceremony so the Chauhans busied themselves with their friends or business partners.
