Chapter 9

"Mom? Melissa?"

My mom started talking,

"Yes, it's us."

"Wait, this makes no sense. I thought you died."

"No, I'm sorry I had to leave."

"But I-I held your body in my arms. You were cold, and all t-the blood!"

"It was fake. A decoy. It wasn't the real me. That was fake blood, and the pistol was fake."

"But why? And why are you on their side?"

Then Melissa spoke,

"Were on their side because it's the smartest decision."

I don't know what happened, but in my head I was picturing her on fire, and when I looked up Melissa was in fact on fire.

"OW DON'T JUST STAND THERE HELP!"

Everyone just looked at her as she rolled on the ground. Then she just stopped moving.

She was lifeless.

"Wait how did that happen?"

Then my mom spoke,

"That is in fact why we need you because you're a witch."

"How can that be I'm a wolf?"

"You're a hybrid of a witch and a wolf."

"That's impossible."

"No nothings impossible I told you that for years. Your grandmother was one, but I didn't receive the trait so you have it."

Shouldn't have told me that. I looked at my so called father and pictured him in the air then getting thrown back into the building. When I actually looked there was a hole in the building and he was gone, and I heard my mom scream for him, "Richard!"

"Come here Farrah!"

Farrah ran to me hugging my legs.

"I'm so sorry Farrah I won't let that happen to you again I promise, but right now I need you to go with Aiden and run, and don't look back! Go!"

She and Aiden ran off on foot and they were out of sight. I looked at the rest of the pack and yelled,

"I need you all to go back to the pack house. Thank you, but you are no longer needed here."

They all replied back, "Yes Luna."

I'm not Luna.

I looked back up to my mom and she was pissed.

P i s s e d.

Wow I have. Never seen her so mad.

"Why are you mad? Mother."

"You killed my mate, now I will kill yours."

Uh oh that was not what I was expecting. She pulled out a gun with silver bullets, and pulled the trigger 4 times. I jumped in front of Tyler and screamed out in pain as all four bullets hit me. Then I heard my coward mom run off. I felt Tyler pick me up, but I couldn't see because everything was blurry and going black. The last thing I heard was my sweet mate's voice yelling at me,

"Aerial!!"

"Why would you jump in front of me?"

"Oh my gosh!"

"I love you so much baby don't leave!"

I felt him running and kissing my head. I whispered back to him, "I love you Tyler."

Then my colorful world faded out into utter darkness.
