—SYNCING with (EP. 03)
sitting outside the deck beside the pool, she kicked her legs against the water surface. it was hot, and she was enjoying the coolness of the water. wearing a t-shirt to cover her swimwear. thank god for black shirts. the plastic bag wrapped around her cast, sealed with tape was just a bit much to be honest. these plastic bags were driving her insane.
"unnie! we're gonna play volleyball. tell us who should start with ball." she felt somewhat sad, she loved playing volleyball. definitely one of the top things she loved to play with her friends back when she was in high school and didn't need to go to the company. "hmm, what side is yanyu on?"
"unnie! we know you have favourites! don't remind us."
laughing, she stuck out her tongue to the familiar voice. pointing to yanyu as the side to receive the ball. if you couldn't tell. she really loved the girl. the youngest reminded herself as the little sister she never had. she was considered sm's true little sister (before aespa) and so having the entire group younger than her. and the youngest being just so innocent and clueless made her feel.. attached? to say?
seeing the staff walk over to start filming the girls playing. she decided to hop into the pool, shivering at the coldness before ultimately relaxing. cold water on a hot day like this was a luxury she was glad she could live for even just an hour.
"let's go kim! spike it on their heads!" she jokingly yelled, seeing the girl get all giddily as she served it to the other side. she was glad that they weren't playing on sand. beach volleyball sometimes hurt if you accidentally dove for a ball in the sand. a mouthful of sand wasn't the brightest idea in the book. her hands subconsciously formed fists as she watched expectantly for one side to score.
the net could definitely be set higher and definitely wasn't the ideal height to play at. but what was she gonna do? stop them and change the height of the net. a bit absurd. seeing the chinese girl score the first point of their very playful and unfair 2v3 game. she screamed, clapping very enthusiastic and energized. she definitely had a lot of energy this morning. seeing the girl cover her face in embarrassment, she only yelled louder. knowing she was absolutely not near a mic at all.
she wondered if fans were enjoying the sudden content of all of this. it was very much unknown to them. but she didn't know if fans knew about all of this sudden outburst of summer content for them. vacation with extra steps.
