Chapter 6: Stalk

"Congratulations to us!"

Malawak ang pagkakangiti ko. This is not the last day of intramurals, but the awarding.

Surprisingly, my friends and I won in different categories we compete. Sigurado ako ngayong araw, walang nakadikit na malas sa akin.

Champion sa rubrics cube si Wynter, she also joined chess and she won third place. Si Marcus naman, kahit hindi namin kasama para magcelebrate, nanalo naman ang team niya sa basketball as champion. And me, I won 1st place in sanaysay. Not bad! Pinagdarasal ko nga na kahit sa 3rd place lang, but I did!

Second placer ang team namin in overall, every team consisted seven sections with different strands. Overall champion naman ang team nila Wynter, hakot award naman kasi ang grupo nila.

As far as I remember, that guy placed champion in every categories he joined. Like he joined with no mercy. Para tuloy walang salitang failure sa bokobukaryo niya.

"Nag-audition pala kayo sa faci! 'Di niyo man lang ako inaya." Para akong batang nagmamaktol, we already planned this even before we became senior high students!

After that long month of intramurals. Balik sa tambakan na activities ang mga teachers. May isa pa nga kaming presentation sa EAPP.

"Biglaan lang 'yon nung last day ng intrams." Juni defend herself, dalawa sila ni Wynter ang nag-audition and they passed. Kung hindi ko pa chineck ang feed ko, hindi ko malalaman.

Gusto kong magreklamo, but I can't do anything...'yan na eh.

During the breaktime, Juni already left me since this is the first day of the english facilitation. Sina Marcus at Niña naman, mahirap hagilapin. Marcus is on his training for the english club, and aside of that he's also had a training on the basketball team. He bacame a varsity, after they won.

Wynterlheigh Navarro:
Pst, ganda! May papaabot ako sa 'yo, punta ka room namin.

I frowned to my self when I saw Wynter's message. Ang layo ng room nila sa amin, ayos pa sana kung kasunod na floor o room lang, pero hindi. Their strand were on a different building.

Lisianthus Vezina:
Layo, ano ba 'yon?

Wynterlheigh Navarro:
Ibibigay ko yung polaroid cam, with film sa 'yo.

My eyes opened wide. Mahal 'yon!

Lisianthus Vezina:

Sakto nung second recess break, lumabas ako para kuhanin ang polaroid cam. Parang nagising ang inaantok kong diwa! Bagama't malayo, nagtungo pa rin ako sa classroom nila Wynter. I message her that I'm already outside, kaya lumabas na rin siya.

Sinalubong niya ako na may ngiti sa mukha, I scanned her and noticed that she has a paint on her face. Mukhang hindi naman napagtripan, mukhang nadaplisan lang. She supposed to be in her assigned room for facilitation. Kaya nga hindi ko kasama si Juni ngayon, eh.

Napansin ko rin na maingay ang room nila, and some of her classmates are on the ground, may mga cartolina ring nakalapag. For sure its for presentation.

"Eto, nandiyan na rin yung susuotin mo for my debut." She handed me a huge paper bag, which indicate all the things she said. Para tuloy akong nagshopping sa rami nito!

"Excuse me,"

I got frozen on where I'm standing at. Ang paningin ko'y nanatili kay Wynter, na napakurap lamang ng ilang beses.

I started to feel panic! Knowing that he's just at my back.

"May pintuan naman sa kabila!" Reklamo ni Wynter.
