Seeing as though none of us can just hop in a call with Suzanne Collins or Soman Chainani for advice, the only people we can rely on are each other! Therefore, before we begin, let us clarify something: Communication is key! We're going to be as professional as possible! So please, do be polite, don't bully, & finish your work!

ORIGIN STORY
After seeing so many people twisting & cherry-picking, then claiming something is the truth when it's not (Non-Fiction), well... needless to say, the founder finally got fed up!
So before we begin, here's a quick lesson: There's a difference between Context & Pretext. An example of PRETEXT would be as followed: 'To Kill A Mockingbird'⎯ As someone who's never read this book, or even heard of it, what's your first reaction? Something along the lines of: "How cruel!" Right? That is PRETEXT. But once you read the book, you'll see that it was not in fact about that! Now that is called CONTEXT.
Still don't get it? If someone screams: "Lev 18:22 says homosexuality is a sin!" ⎯That is also PRETEXT. However, once we read the previous passages (including the events that occurred in the later chapters), it's clear that God wasn't talking about homosexuality AT ALL!
But if it still isn't clear enough: "Don't eat shellfish!" But... Why? Don't eat shellfish because... I'm allergic (or might be)? Because it goes against my religion? Because they're going extinct? Because they're being plagued by some kind of disease?
CONTEXT IS IMPORTANT. Without it, if you claim the quote or verse is something that it's not, then you're -to put it nicely- telling a bunch of: Mendacities!
But this won't be the end of the lessons! After about a month or so (2 classes give or take), we'll be posting more! This was just a small sample of what's to come!
