"Wow, you guys had it all figured out," I said in a fascinated voice.

"Can we get snacks?" Kayin asked.

"If you get snacks you won't have enough room for ice cream at Friendly's," Chris responded.

"Never mind, I want ice cream."

I laughed at how quick she responded.

I know I was hungry as hell because I had skipped lunch today because I had a lot of work to be done.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt a hand over mine that rested on the console. I looked up to see Chris, who stole a glance at me that very moment.

"I gotta talk to you about something later," he stated, his voice was so serene that I was sure that it wasn't anything bad.

The movie went by in a breeze and it's crazy because I thought that it would put them all to sleep for sure but I was wrong. They were more than ready to go to Friendly's.

Looking down at the menu's I asked them if they knew what they were going to order knowing all of them were going to get the Dippin' Chicken meals. Kimora wanted the Cotton Candy drink, Kayin ordered the Friendly's Shirley Temple, and CJ wanted the Royal Razz drink. I think they were all signature drinks of Friendly's but I think the kids loved them for the glasses they were served in right along with the cherry on top. I made them feel a little more grown up because they know they don't get glass cups at home.

"Well hello, we meet again," said a cheery voice as the person looming over my table.

I grit my teeth before I even look up because I already knew who it was.

"Hi Ms. Destiny!" Kayin replied cheerily, oblivious that this woman was not the one to get excited about.

"Hi baby!" she cooed.

"Are you following me?" I asked in a whisper, not trying to really let these kids hear me.

"Why no, why would you think that? I just thought I'd say hi. I was just here with some friends after work," she said pointing at a table in the back that occupied two other women who were carrying on a conversation and laughing.

I was mad as hell that she was disrespecting my wife and I really wanted to cuss her out but I couldn't because of the kids. I just put my head down, feeling a little defeated at this point while Destiny was standing there smiling in my face as if she were innocent. I couldn't manage to look in Kim's face while all of this was taking place.

"Hi, I'm Kimberly, Chris's wife" Kim said extending her hand, playing along with Destiny's 'innocent game', "I don't believe we've met."

"Oh, we haven't," she accepted Kim's hand with a smirk, "I'm Destiny, a friend of Brandi's and I met Chris a few years back before he was married."

"Well it's nice to meet you Destiny, but I'd like to get back to my family time now," she said it very politely though.

Destiny gave her the fakest smile ever and walked away to her table.

"I hope I don't have to get outta character with her," I whispered to Chris.

"Everything will be alright. I'm gonna get a restraining order on her if she gets out of control," Chris whispered back, "but let's enjoy the rest of our dinner."

After dinner I dropped off Kayin, who was asleep just like the twins, making a mental note that I still had to take her spring shopping. When we arrived home I carried the twins up to their room, tied up Kimora's hair and tucked them both in to bed properly, then retreated to mine and Kim's.

Kim was already in a silk smoky grey camisole nightgown. She was wrapping her hair while I stood behind her.

She eyed me through the mirror. Her eyes were silently asking me what was on my mind.

"Rashad came by my restaurant today."

I tested her to see if she would confess that she knew about the business he wanted to conduct.

"I know. He came by my business the other day asking about having a dinner party at your restaurant. I told him I don't have anything to do with that and that he should come to you with a business proposal."

"How come you're just now telling?" I asked a little disappointed.

"Because, I knew you'd get uneasy," she said turning to me.

"No. What makes me get uneasy is when I learn things from you long after the fact," I stated, "I know how my past was and that's why I tell you everything the day it happens."

"Well you shouldn't get uneasy at all, you've always known me as being faithful. Loyal. Even when you didn't deserve it but I was though." She stated the last part she stated quietly.

My goal was not to make her think of the past. But her not telling me about this the same day it happened makes me feel some type of way. I mean she had a physically attraction to him at one point. If she didn't have any to hide, why didn't she tell me?

"Do you still think about him?" I asked quietly.

She looked at me so quickly she probably had whiplash. The look on her face told me that my question hurt.

"No," was the straight answer I received. She didn't feel like she needed to justify her answer, "Why are you so hooked up on this?"

"I don't know. I told you from the beginning that you could've done so much better than me...."

I didn't get to finish my statement because she cut me off.

"Do you think he's better than you?" she asked calmly.

"No. But it doesn't matter what I think. Do you think he's better than me? That's the real question."

"No I don't. If I did I would've been with him. I'm married to you. I have your last name. I gave my virginity to you. I've only been with you. I have two beautiful children and one beautiful step-daughter with you. A wonderful marriage with you. Not a house, but a home, with you. I built a foundation off of love, with you. Are you insinuating that I'd leave all of that for a man that I had a crush on as a minor? Who I only showed interest in because he gave me some attention. I don't love him, I love you. I'm in love with you and been in love with since I met you. The only reason why I didn't tell you is because you have a temper and I don't want you to do anything irrational because I don't want to lose you. But never in you life insult me again, that's hurtful that you don't trust me, especially when I never gave you a reason to question my loyalty," she got teary eyed at the end of her speech and got up and walked around me, "good night, I'm going to bed."
