"but why only us ?"
y/n asked Cheng as he pulled out his bicycle.
"because i won the bet about us failing in maths "
"well technically we did not fail , it was a class test"
"you promised" Cheng signed
"yeah lets go tonight there will be fireworks in the public park cause of the local fair"
y/n smiled at Cheng
Cheng moved his head away in process of hiding his blush .
As they rode the cycle through the thin street people looked at them as two young lovers.
Cheng felt embarrassed while y/n stayed ignorant of it all.
"oh no we will be late"
y/n whined as Cheng started to increase the speed .
"Y/n i wanted you to know something"
half way thru the fireworks had already started .
Cheng stopped the cycle and took y/n's hand in his .
Y/n started at him patiently waiting .
Cheng cupped Y/n's face .
"i love you Y/n "
and it felt like the world had stopped .
tears started to pour down his eyes .
as he moved ahead to kiss her , a bright light interrupted everything .
soon his eyes opened and he found himself again in her old room .
She now lives 2 cities away with zero recollection of him and memories which sadly she never made .
For they changed ...............................
they did what they could ....
