Lisa naturally played along.

Jennie fell silent for a moment, then responded a few seconds later. “Okay. I’m in the capital right now, not far away.”

Lisa raised her brows. “Then you can just come over. We’ll be waiting for you.”

After telling Jennie about the address, Lisa hung up the phone.

She texted Seokjin, { Done. Jennie is coming over right now. }

{ Okay. I’ll get Jisoo and Jongin to come over. }

Lisa didn’t mind treating two more people to a meal.

She could afford to be wilful with the prize money she won.

Their meeting venue was a mid-tier hotel.

The renovation and facilities were pretty good, and the ambience was exquisite.

The prices weren’t expensive, but the taste of the food was quite good. Jisoo was the one who recommended this place.

When she entered the suite, Lisa saw that other than her older brother and Jisoo, Jongin was also there.

He still carried that same gloomy vibe, and it was even more intense than before.

Still, even with his hair slightly messy, he always looked handsome.

His looks would charm many girls everywhere he went.

Although she did not know why her older brother was so friendly with Jongin, Lisa didn’t ask him about it.

As Jisoo spoke, Seokjin and Jongin also turned their heads.

Seokjin couldn’t resist teasing Lisa.

Lisa revealed a pursed-lip smile. She cast a glance at Jongin, who remained aloof-looking, then went over to sit next to Jisoo.

“Have you guys ordered?”

Lisa started looking at the menu the moment she sat down. Seokjin, however, shot her a look. “Not everyone is here yet.”

Jisoo looked at Seokjin a baffled expression. “Who’s not here yet?”

It seems like Seokjin hadn’t told Jisoo that Jennie would be here.

“Another friend of ours is coming shortly.”

Lisa responded blandly, not looking towards Jongin.

But just then, Jongin suddenly spoke up. “Since you guys have friends coming, I’d better leave first.”

“Why leave?”

Seokjin, who hadn’t expected Jongin to want to leave, pulled him back. “Jongin, just stay for a meal. Lisa’s friend won’t get in your way or anything. Why the hurry to leave?”

Jongin frowned slightly, his gaze turning stern as he looked towards Seokjin. “Are you hiding something from me?”

“…”

How sensitive.

He saw through his plot immediately.

Seokjin seemed at ease and didn’t mind that Jongin saw through his plan. “It’s just a meal.”
