Bondita was way shocked by his confessions. They did know that he had been accused of murder. but after listening that from his own mouth....had shaken her self-confidence a bit. She was afraid whether she would be able to vindicate him innocent!

Anirudh noticed her changed expression. understood very well exactly what's running in her mind.

He gently placed one of his hand on Bondita's hand which was resting on the table between them. Bondita was startled by his sudden gesture. watched him in bemusement.he passed an assuring smile.

"Bondita...you know what I'm feeling right now?" Came his voice mildly. he saw her nodded slightly.confused she was.

"It feels like I'm flying over the moon"That was apparent by his expression. reflected in his eyes. how happy he was. She could see that"You know" two words left his lips. Just to grab her attention...

"I was way distressed knowing your excruciating past.so I just wanted to help you anyhow to overcoming the pain you were going through..which was why I tried to make you understand...kept troubling you for the past few days. But You...."She lowered her head in guilt." I felt so defeated at that moment that I didn't feel ever. and I don't think I would feel this disspirited if I lose a case ever in my life"He observed her stilled posture. pressed their interwining hands a little. making her eyes to move upwards to him.

"But now that you decided to move on from your past. ready to fight with that rather than running away. I'm so happy..elated as if I have conquered the world" She smiled emotionally. Gazed at him in awe!

"I have full faith on you. I know now you will fight with this world fearlessly.you are the strongest girl I have ever seen in my life..Once you start shining the world with your brilliance I'm sure the day isn't so far when all women of our country will raise their voice against each injustice. Will fight for their rights..."

His eyes held hope,admiration.. immense trust for her. She was overwhelmed. tears of happiness generated in her eyes. there were so much to say but she kept mum....just stared at him attentively.

"Whatever happens...I don't care what the culmination of this case will be. Now even if the court sentenced me to death I would accept with smiling face....."

"Anirudhhh....never say such things. I won't let anything happen to you"He felt a jolt by her words. Her reaction was like a bolt from the blue. So unexpected..besides...she never called him by his name...! He gave a confused smile. Withdrew his hand from hers briskly. On the other hand all colours of Bondita's face drained up no sooner the realisation hit her hard. She felt extreme mortification. How could she lose control on herself! How could she forget who he was!what's their relationship!how even she dared to nurture those forbidden feelings after all these happened!

Her eyes took glances every corner of the cell in nervousness. Plastering that confounded smile he waited for her to say something...

"You..you want me to lose the first ever case of my life! But nothing will happen like that...remember"She tried to be look confident normalising her posture. He laughed mouthful hearing her statement. bobbed his head up and down.... she's so innocent!

She got up to leave but again sat back. He raised his browse questioning.

"Barrister Babu...you know for the first time I'm going to fight a case... I'm not experienced so....if you...."He nodded positively getting her words.

"I don't think you are inexperienced. Because an inexperienced Barrister can never be able to solve a complicated case that ran over my head" her eyes got widened.

He knew....!

"Yess, I know Bondita ji. that day I was surprised knowing that you solved such complicated case what I couldn't and then had started investigation about you. In this way got to know that you are that unknown protestor everyone talks about. And finally I found Binitha's letter she had written to you before her..her de....death" gloominess appeared on their faces again...exhaling deeply he forced a smile...to continue further..

"So don't worry. Have faith on yourself and always be with truth .win will be yours...either way...! All the best... " Both of them exchanged a smile. Bondita took few steps ahead again stayed put. nervously came to Anirudh. He stood up from his place. gazing here and there she stood there silently...at lost of words.

"Barrister babu...may I...can I touch your feet?"came her timorous voice after when it felt like eternity. Was Unsure of his answer. Anirudh was mumchance!he never ever imagined that she would ask for something like this.

"What? why?"she heard his counter question...almost inaudible.....awkwardness prevailed there!!

"I'm going to fight first case in my life..so for your blessings "She somehow whispered.

"My best wishes for you always........" He tried to make an excuse.a girl'....touching his feet.....He didn't even let Binitha to touch his feet. But now another.......!

Bondita's time was over. She made a puppy face. Pleading with eyes.

"Okay..As a senior Barrister bless your junior...please" She immediately bend down and touched his feet not giving him minimum time to utter a word. Left him in utter shock. he was unable to think what should he do. In extreme nervousness brought his right hand....placed that over her head.

Smiling slightly...murmured...

"Vijayee Bhava!"

She closed the gaps between her eyelashes. A drop of tears fell on his feet through her closed eyes. She remembered something and chanted in her mind.

"Om Krishna namaha! Om Anirudha namaha............!!!
