A peculiar chuckle left Bondita's lips....!Matronymic.....!!

"Anika means graceful, beautiful ,brilliant and fearless and it's another name of goddess Durga maa. When I first saw her she looked like exactly little Durga. As if Durga herself appeared infront of me in her form. So I thought this name would be appropriate for her....."Anirudh spoke out smiling...still was unsure whether everyone would like that or not .Bondita passed an smile in approval. tears of happiness flowed from her eyes.......! ultimately the ceremony was over and they proceeded for the birthday celebration.

"Don't go Beti. I...I apologize on behalf of Anirudh" Trilochan Implored Bondita who was all set to leave RC haveli with her daughter Anika. Bondita stood there silently. she was overwhelmed by the love they're showering on her....In such short span of time they grown an unforgettable attachment...Binoy too requested her for multiple times to stay back. Batuk and Somnath was crying unstoppably since when they got to know about her leaving.

"No Kaka ji...please don't apologize. I have been here till recent just due to Binitha's little kid...Adwait. but now Barrister babu is absolutely well...wholesome....so I'm sure, Adwait will be taken care of undoubtedly well....."She spoke considerately. Headed towards the threshold. again turned behind blankly. added"And moreover.....I don't want to ruin anyone's life. It would be better to be careful earlier then........." Her words remained incomplete as soon as eyes spotted the person...standing on the bottom step of the stairs.

Downstairs commotion forced Anirudh to come out of his room. Although was reluctant. while descending through the staircase his steps rooted on the spot... witnessing the unexpected scenario....Bondita was leaving....!! And the reason why she had taken such decision abruptly was known to him very well.he was already way guilty for that night.now Felt ashamed of himself.

He took halting step forward.Bondita turned away as Anirudh stood infront of her. Mumchance..! Was unable get a word out of his mouth. was afraid what if he again speak anything wrong. eyes took glances of each elements of the hall room....in a futile attempt to find an appropriate word to vocalize. Bondita stepped ahead...one step..Anirudh hold her hand from behind....but left instantly in hesitation.

"Wo...Bon...Bondita...please..I know why you're leaving...and...I don't have any apropos words to apologise for that...you don't even have to forgive me. But please stay here...." Bondita let out a small smile. Crossed one step.

"No Barrister Babu. There's no need to apols. you did nothing wrong. Rather what you did for me and my daughter...I will always be grateful for that... it's just...I...I don't want to be a burden on anyone an......."

"What are you talking???"Anirudh snapped. "Burden...!! Bondita...look at them...you think anyone in this house considers you a burden..!all of them are so upset...but....yeah..I don't deserve your trust but you can atleast trust them...."

Bondita glance at them. Kaka was standing quietly. Eyes sparkling with a hope. Som and Batuk was wipping silent tears. Koyeli and Bihari was there in a corner. standing with tears brimmed eyes. She smiled emotionally..professed...

"I do have trust on them....but.... however,I can't be here for forever...right...would have to go away from them....sooner or later..."

"But where you will go?"Anirudh inquired "Your in-laws....I..I mean...They may try to hurt you again.."A little scared he was. So was Bondita. but kicked away the thoughts. She Asserted..

"Don't worry. I can't run away always...I would have to confront them anyways...."Anirudh had nothing more to say. he watched her moved ahead. Stopped. Slowly and steadily she came to him. Bending down a bit placed a soft kiss on Adwait's cheeks. A drop of tears fell on Adwait's cheeks through her closed eyes. Tears generated in Anirudh's eyes too....in guiltiness.
