Chapter 6 : Catnip

Start from the beginning

"Icy, I'm quite busy as a human, I have school from the morning till the evening. Even if I had time, a certain deformity on my feet, yes humans have feet instead of paws. It hurts to even stand on the ground, not to mention running, that's only one of the health issues I have. The first thing here that surprised me was that I could finally run as much as I liked" he replied. "Oh...I don't understand a thing you just said...but alright...?"

"One thing I was interested in was reading books...but I guess there aren't many here" he said to me. "Books...there are a few of them, there's a library in Treasure Town, there are plenty of books there," I said to him. "Thanks, I do have a few stories...one story I favored the most actually," he said with a smile. "Can you tell me about it, please?" I asked. "Nah, you won't find it interesting"

"Pretty please?" I asked. "Nope" he replied shortly. "Pretty please with a Cherri berry on top?" I asked and looked at him with my Baby-Doll Eyes. "Ugh...fine, but that's a story I'd like to tell more than a mon about it, I liked it a lot...though I didn't believe what the author said. However...now I'm starting to believe in it a little..." he said. "Thanks, Randy...but what did the author say?"

"He said that the story was based on a dream he had...being turned into a pokemon. It felt so real to him...until he woke up. He stated that he first thought that it was all a dream...until he found something on his desk...something he had as a pokemon, he even drew a picture of it. Hard to believe, isn't it?" he asked. "Yeah...who would believe in that crazy statement anyway?" I muttered. "It's probably as hard to believe as how I'm a human," Randy said with a smile, then both of us started laughing.

"By the way, why didn't you think of Blossom? She likes gummies, you know?" I asked. "What?" he asked. "There was another option, a gummy store for the same price as an ice cream parlor" I replied. "Oh, didn't see that...not like I'd want to buy it for her anyway" he muttered. "But what about the whole hug and kiss thing?"

"Icy, let's get this straight. I was being forced against my will when I was hugged and kissed, especially for those kisses. Blossom is one of my two best friends in this world, the other one is you...but I only like her as a friend, not the romantic kind of love, you know?" he growled. "Randy, having a girlfriend isn't that bad," I said quietly. "Icy, I've never planned on having a girlfriend, I'm not planning to have one either. And how does this even work? I'm a human and she's a Shinx" he barked. "It does work...the only human besides you I know had an egg with a Flareon" I stated, then Randy let out a sigh.

"Icy, can you please stop this? I don't like her hugs and kisses...or especially her kisses I mean. Other than that, I don't even know if I'm going back to my world or not. According to what you two said a few days ago, I'm a unique case and nobody knows what will happen to me" he grumbled. "But the way you said that...do you mean her hugs are fine?" I asked. "Icy...I mean, no. It's not fine, they're just...not as bad as the kisses" he replied, but I noticed something different.

"Oh, then why are you blushing?" I asked with a smirk. "What?...like how can you not blush when somemon with the opposite gender just hugs you out of nowhere?" he growled as his blush grew even more intense. "Alright, then I'm telling her to give you more hugs~" I chanted and stuck my tongue out at him. "No! I do not appreciate her hugs!" Randy yelled. "Stop me if you can~" I exclaimed and dashed off. "Come back here!"

"We're already at...Eastern Savannah?" I muttered as a large plain of dirt showed up in front of me. "Guess we went a litter faster than we thought," Randy said from behind. "Where do we start searching?" I asked, then Randy seemed to be thinking. "No idea, should we split up?" Randy suggested. "Randy, I'm really bad at directions, so I think maybe we should stay together?" I asked. "Alright"

"Do we rush through the place, or do we fight the mons on our way?" Randy asked. "I don't think we should fight if they aren't attacking us, why?" I asked back. "Because I think they're gonna be quite a few mons somewhere around here, this place is quite flat" Randy replied and pointed towards a herd of Blitzles and Zebstrikas. "I think...ignoring them would probably be a better idea"
