Chapter 4: Cheer auditions

"So, what shall we do?" I ask Noah. He asks, "Do you have Netflix?" "Ummm I don't know if my mom has bought it already but I'll see, mabey she bought it yesterday for me. Let me see ... omg she really did ahhh I'm so happy!" I shout happily. "Let's watch stranger things then! My girlfriend needs to know the series I'm in!" he says proudly. I start blushing. Wait what did he just call me his girlfriend. I mean I have nothing against it but I wasn't sure about it, since we've never talked about it. He puts his arm around my shoulder and we both start watching stranger things. "Wow that's young Noah?!? He's so cute omgg." I think. Then I ask him, "You had a bowl cut?!?"
"Yeah but just for the show! I don't like it, too. But the duffer brothers always want Will to have a bowl cut." he answers. "I mean it still looks good on you! I bet everything looks good on you." I tell him honestly. The series is actually good but I'm not really focused. All I think about is the hot guy next to me. After the first episode he looks into my blue/brown/green (✨ choose whatever your eye color is) eyes. "Y/n, can we Mabey keep this a little secret at the beginning. It's just because of all the paparazzis and fans and I don't wanna tell them yet, because I only wanna focus on you."
He asks kinda scared. "Yes ofc, no need to worry Noah." Then he holds my waist and kisses me really long. Wow it feels so amazing, I want to have him forever! Even if I knew, that he had to go to Florida again, for filming season 5. I don't wanna think about that yet. I ask him if we should go to Starbucks and get us some coffee. He agrees and before we leave the house I quickly change into this outfit:

Noah also tells me to put on some sunglasses, so the paparazzis wouldn't see my face that well. As soon as we're in Starbucks I can already notice a lot of people looking at us and Noah still has his arm around my shoulder. "Noah, people are looking at us, what if they know we're dating?" I ask him confused. "As long as we don't make it official, they don't know." he says really calm. After we ordered our drinks, we notice a familiar face. "Hmmm I know him, he's in my French class" I think. As soon as I can see him coming over, I know that it's Steve. (✨ look what I made hehe) He's one of the most popular student (✨Noah is the most popular) and he's in the football team. "Hey y/n and Noah. It's great to meet you. I'm throwing a party next Saturday and I wanted to ask if y'all want to come." Steve says. I know Noah hates him and I notice him waiting for me to answer first and I'm sorry as much as I love Noah, I have to say yes, since I've never been on a party before and I mean a party from a popular student is even better. After I agreed to come, Noah agreed, too and looked a bit of jealous. He pulls me closer to him and I start blushing. I think he wanted to show Steve that I'm his girlfriend. Steve says goodbye and leaves the Starbucks. "You got jealous right?" I ask Noah with a cute smile. "No, but he's trying to steal my girl and I won't let that happen" Noah says. "Oh come on Noah, it's just a party invitation, not a stealing your girlfriend thing. Also we need some friends in new school, since we don't know anyone besides us and your sister." I say. "You're right, but I'm driving you to the party ok?" he says. "I hoped you would ask me that" I say and start laughing. Finally we get our coffees and leave Starbucks. He still has his arm around me. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind but I thought he wanted to keep this as a secret. Hmm doesn't really matter. "Noah, im staying longer in school tomorrow, since there are cheer auditions." I tell him. "Uhh you're a cheerleader?" he asks not really surprised. "I mean I've never been a part of the cheer team but I know all the things cheerleader do and I can do everything perfectly. My mom was a cheerleader, so she always trained me everything. I was just always too scared to go to auditions. I think I'm not afraid anymore." I tell him. "Wow Thats Great. Im definitely gonna watch you, during your audition." he answers proudly. Noah drives me home and then we kiss once again. After that we say good bye to each other. As soon as I get home, I can see mom on the sofa and she's probably working on her laptop. "Mom, you need some time for you, it's Sunday! Stop working. I feel like you're working too much." I say. "Omg
y/n you're right, I just wanted to apply for a higher position, so I'd earn more money and have to work a little bit less. Wait let me just send the job application.... Finished!!" she says happily. "I think you should get some rest mom." I recommend to her. "First tell me, how are things with Noah going?" she asks me. I tell her everything except the hickey part, she doesn't need to know, that's why I put concealer over it a few hours ago. She sounds really happy for me after I told her that Noah and I are dating. "Mom, I need to tell you something else... so Ummm tomorrow are cheerteam auditions and I thought I could try to audition for it, since I know everything." I tell my mom. I know she waited for this moment for years that's why she starts screaming and clapping happily. After that I go to bed and fall asleep, dreaming about Noah.

I wake up noticing a sheet on my door. It says, "I left for work earlier today, ly y/n/n" wow that means I have to go to school by Skateboard again. I try to put on a cute outfit and after some minutes of decision I decide for that one, since it's gonna be a bit cold today

I go to my locker and put out my books when I hear Noah's soft voice whispering in my ears, "Good Morning y/n. You look gorgeous today" I answer, "Naww Tysm Noah." I hug him like we always do and then I go to my classroom.

I quickly change into this outfit and go to the auditions.

Oh no Chloe is there. Somehow she hates me and I don't know why. She doesn't even know I'm dating her brother. Anyways I still go in.

Chloe's POV:
(✨ She's thinking all of those things haha)
What is y/n y/l/n doing here?!? She can't be a cheerleader! That's my thing not hers. Wow even her outfit is cute. I'm so jealous of this girl and her wardrobe. She knows how to style but that's not good for me. I used to be the prettiest, most popular and smartest girl in the school but now it's her, I think she doesn't even know it yet.  She always has the best grades how is that possible?!! Anyways I hope she's not better than me at cheerleading otherwise she would steal my title as cheer captain. I'm surprised what she's going to do.

Y/n's POV:
"Oh hey I'm y/n y/l/n and I wanted to audition for cheerleading" I say, while I can see Noah waving at me, so I wave back. I really hope Chloe didn't notice that. "You?! A cheerleader!? Ahaha omg that's a good joke. I mean you need to be talented for that and you aren't obviously" Chloe says laughing. "Oh you know what, I've seen you cheerleading Chloe and you're a bad cheerleader, so I think you don't need to be talented to get into this team." I answer feisty. I also see her friends in the back not trying to laugh. "Then show me what you can, but if you're not good enough, I've warned you." Chloe says angrily. Suddenly I can see the whole football team looking at me, but I don't care because all I care about is Noah, so I just start. (✨ I don't know what you call all of those things you do there so let's just say you did all of that) After I finished everyone clapped surprised and I even heard a girl saying that I'm so much better than anyone in this school. I turn around and look at Noah. He looks impressed. After a few seconds the cheerleader come over (except for Chloe) and tell me I am in the team, since I was so good. They also say that I'm the new cheer captain. Chloe is so mad, so I wanted to apologize but she just storms out of the gym. Suddenly I see Noah running to me and pulling me into a big hug. "I knew you could do this" he says and after that, all the other people in the room come over to me. It feels great. I'm not the anxious y/n anymore. I'm not "just there" and no one knew who I was. Now everyone knows me and so many people like me. It feels great. But the onliest person I care about liking me is Noah.
"Noah I think you should talk to Chloe" I advice.
"Yeah that's probably the best, I'm her brother" he says. "I'm gonna drive home in the mean time bye Noah" I say and hug him really tight! Then I just grab my skateboard and skate back home.
