Leontios wandered through the old flat.

Him, Cassandra, and Lex were roommates, are still are, but recently they decided to get in a relationship with each other. The three of them still lived together, but as significant others rather than friends. Leontios had been happy with the development.

Recently, they'd gotten more money from winning a lottery. With their new large amounts of money, they'd gotten a bigger house and moved in together. They were going to sell the old flat soon, and Leontios had been in charge of clearing out the old stuff.

Lex and Cassandra had already cleared out most the stuff, like furniture and clothes, and Leontios was supposed to clear out the smaller stuff.

Leontios was now in his old room, aimlessly collecting old knickknacks and books.

Now Leontios pulled a sketchbook from his shelf, flicking through the pages. He winced as he  looked at each page, internally cringing at everything. This seemed to be from more than a year ago, one of the more recent ones.

Leontios liked drawing, but he spent most his time drawing machines and building plans. He liked to build and put things together to create new things.

He tossed that in the bag as well, moving on to the next sketchbook. He didn't bother looking through the pages this time, since he wasn't willing to mentally torture himself again. And, if he was late to dinner, Cassandra was going to kill him. He threw the sketchbook in and moved on, going to a cardboard box where he had kept a small mouse.

He grinned at the memory. They hadn't been dating yet at the time he found the mouse. He had caught a orangish mouse while taking a walk one day, and decided he wanted to keep it. He put it in a little cage he had built. One day, when Lex went in his room, he had screamed shrilly when he saw the mouse. Leontios chuckled at the hilarious sound.

Lex and Cassandra had insisted they wanted it out of the house, but Leontios had refused. So now they kept it as a pet and named her Rose.

Leontios moved on to his desk, opening the drawer.

He frowned, noticing something dark.

He pulled it out— It was a photo album.

Leontios liked photography, and often asked Lex and Cassandra to pose whenever there was interesting or pretty scenery. Photography was just fun.

He flipped through the pages, grin spreading wider and wider the farther he got through the album.

There was one picture with him and his mom eating a churro. It was from when Leontios was just six years old. He was pretty sure his mom had asked a stranger to take the photo, now that he remembered. Leontios smiled fondly at his mother's smiling face.

The next photo, Leontios had aged a bit. He now looked about eight, and him and one of his childhood friends were sticking their faces in one of those cardboard face cutouts at carnivals. his friend was Mickey Mouse and he was Minnie Mouse.

The next photo had him on his first field trip of second grade. He was at a zoo, where he was looking in the camera and pointing excitedly at a woman feeding a raccoon. He loved raccoons, and still did.

He flicked to the next page. This was another photo from when he was around that age, and this time he was swimming in a pool with a few other kids at a pool party. He was pretty sure that was his ninth birthday party.

The next photo was him in a classroom, on the first day of fourth grade. He was grinning next to his teacher.

He flicked to the next page, a photo of him at age ten. He was at a pop culture museum, and he was on a field trip. One of his chaperones had taken this picture. Leontios chuckled at the bright smile younger him wore as he looked upon electric guitars displayed behind a glass case.

Another photo featured him blowing out candles on a birthday cake. That was him during his eleventh birthday party, where his party was hosted at his actual apartment. That time, his mom didn't have enough extra money to actually go somewhere and have lost of people come, but Leontios hadn't minded. He just brought a small group of his friends and had a sleepover.

All of these photos were relatively normal, and then it got to the slightly more interesting photos.

At age twelve, was when he first came out as genderfluid to his mom. She had supported him, as well as most his friends. Leontios grinned. He really had an awesome mom.

Another photo from age twelve, but this time he was at Camp Halfblood for the first time. He was at the deck of the big house, and his boyfriend Lex had taken the photo. (They just met at the time).

The photos were getting increasingly more ominous, and weirder than the average teenager's life.

The next photo, he wasn't sure what age he was. He looked about thirteen or fourteen, but Leontios couldn't be sure. He was walking at the edge of an empty highway at sunset, dirt and blood smeared across his face and wearing ragged clothes and a half torn backpack. He held a bronze broadsword in his hand. He was talking to Cassandra, who was in the same condition as he was. Lex must've taken the photo while on a quest.

He flicked to the next page and was found with nothing. He must've gotten to the last page already. His life sure was crazy, now that he thought about it.

"Oh shit!" Leontios frantically checked his worn leather watch— His sixteenth birthday gift from Cassandra. It was 6:47. Cassandra wanted him home by seven. He was gonna die today.

He hastily shoved the photo album into the bag and ran out the door, running out the small apartment as fast as he could.

He almost dropped the bag twice before making it out the front door.
