Lief, awoke from the loud clamouring outside his bedchamber, he got ready and then went down to the kitchen for some breakfast. Lief abruptly stopped outside of the kitchen overhearing Barda and Lindals conversation,
"Did you hear! Lief and Jasmine are going to the CC! It's going to be so funny when they realise that all the Kings do there is flex about their riches! The look on their faces when they come back to Deltora will be priceless!" Barda roared
"Yes! I'll be sure to be there to see their hilarious expressions!" Lindal laughed
"Yes, Unfortunately you guys will cherish this annoying moment" Lief grinned
"Lief! We were waiting for you! Hurry up and sit" Marilen hurrieda
"Okay, okay I'm coming" Lief said while taking his spot next to Barda, facing Jasmine. Today's breakfast was blueberry pancakes and everyone started to eat while having a bit of small talk as well. Suddenly the room silenced and the only thing Lief could hear was Josefs crying.
"Shush" Marilen shushed
"Give here" Ranesh said, taking Josef from Marilen. He then sneezed and then Josef erupted in a fit of giggles.
"Wow, that's really cool!" Lief laughed, and then he suddenly fell
"COME HERE JASMINE YOU LITT-" Lief screamed
"Uh-Oh, You have to catch me!" Jasmine laughed and then ran at top speed with Lief dangerously on her tail. They left the kitchen after circling the room for what seemed like hours.
They then boarded the ship to take them to the Kingdom of Avelair. After a few days on the sea they finally had landed.
Lief and Jasmine boarded looking like royalty. Everyone else started whispering and then the King of Avelair came out of his huge palace, of course Lief was unfazed because the Deltoran Castle was way bigger in size.
"Are you sure these are the King and Queen of Deltora? I thought Alton would come, maybe even Endon and Sharn" King of Avelair said
"Uhh! Yes your liege, this is the King and Queen of Deltora" the puny guard stuttered
"I'll just see for myself" King of Avelair said and then he walked over to Jasmine and Lief
"Greeting from Avelair, King and Queen of Deltora, I am King Wyatt, but you may call me Wyatt if you would like" King Wyatt said
"Q-Queen?" Lief stuttered, eyes wide and cheeks flushing
"Oh yes?, The fair lady next to you. Is she not your wife?" King Wyatt questioned
Lief looked at Jasmine giving their special language, The language of nods and death stares, You wanna pretend like we are married? Lief asked, Yessir! Jasmine responded, smirking
"Oh yes! Jasmine, my fiance, we are about to wed!" Lief, exclaimed brightly
"Uhh, Yes!" Jasmine flustered, her cheeks turned red and then she grabbed Liefs arm and then dragged him down to meet King Wyatt
"Nice to meet you, King Wyatt!" Jasmine grinned
"Oh! Congratulations to the new couple!" Wyatt exclaimed
"Anyway, Come on in! It's been so long since Deltora attended CC!" Wyatt laughed
"Ahh, yes! It has been a long time, we had difficulties but with the help of Lief, Jasmine and Barda we accomplished them!" Lief exclaimed, nudging his hair to the side.
"Oh, yes I have heard of those heroes, They were named after you weren't they?" King Wyatt questioned, while touching one of his precious gold pieces.
"Not exactly-" Lief began, until he was rudely interrupted by King Wyatt
"Anyway, We all will meet tomorrow as I presume all of the guests are tired and so the maids will send you to your room, we will meet for the meeting at the break of dawn" King Wyatt instructed, directing them to the maids next to him and then walking away.
