"Isn't this Y/n's?" Jisoo mutters

"Huh? I don't remember that evidence.. what crime scene did we get that, sunbae?" Felix asked

"It's not evidence, it's Y/n's ring. She must've dropped it when she was looking through these that day" Jisoo said, Felix nods

"I'll give this to her"

Meanwhile …

After that call, Y/n got a message from Sana telling her to come to a club so she went there as Sana is her new client. She enters the club and is uncomfortable from the loud music and dark rooms with led lights

While Sana sees her

"Let's get inside" Sana led Y/n to a V.I.P. lounge

"This isn't the right place for us to talk about your lawsuit" Y/n said

"I know but I want to have fun. Have some mochi" Sana said, Y/n looks at the mochi from the table but she isn't interested

"I didn't come here to eat. Why are you being friendly? What's your motive?" Y/n suspiciously asked

"I have no motive other than wanting to catch up with you" Sana smilee

"Your late father, detective Minatozaki, was the one investigating the case of heart hunter. After finding out that Irene wasn't the real killer but me, he was determined to put me in jail but he was stopped after my father killed your father and Mina's father to protect me" Y/n said, Sana looked down

Sana starts to have flashbacks when she finds out her parents were murdered. It was traumatic especially the person responsible for her parents which is Y/n's father is still out there

"Tell me, do you really see me as your friend?" Y/n asked, Sana didn't answered

"Thought so. Let's just talk about your lawsuit in my office" Y/n stood up

Next day …

Chaeyoung was called by her father in his office

"How are you adjusting to your new work?" Mr Son asked

"Just fine" Chaeyoung said uninterested on having a conversation with her father

"The murders had been happening after you landed here in Korea.."

"So you're saying it's me?" Chaeyoung scoffs

"I didn't said that"

"Whatever. I'm out of here" Chaeyoung leaves his office

She went out seeing Y/n talking to Sana

'Isn't that Choi Hyunseok's ex-girlfriend?' Chaeyoung thought. She approached her desk

"Did you see Minatozaki Sana talking to Ms Moon?" Lisa asked, Chaeyoung nods

"Shocker, right? Who expected that those two are acquaintances? They have opposite personality, Sana is a sweetheart while Ms Moon is a ice cold lawyer" Lisa chuckles

Chaeyoung felt jealousy seeing Y/n with somebody else

"They don't look good together" Chaeyoung said with a tone of bitterness

"I never said they're dating" Lisa laughs

That night …

Y/n is looking at the only picture she has of her biological father. She once again received a call from Chaeyoung, it's the third time. She answered it out of annoyance

"Is this Ms Moon?" Y/n heard a man

"Speaking. Who is this?" Y/n asked

"I'm a bartender at a bar, your friend is drunk here and can't go home alone. I looked into her contacts and you're the only saved number" he said
