Beep. . . .beep. . . .beep

"Ughh. . . What time is it?" Yaya looked at her alarm clock, 5:30 am, maybe it was too early but she needed the time to fix herself up.

She grabs her hijab, clothes, and her towel as she walks to the bathroom. After taking a nice shower she noticed ying waking up from her slumber.

"Morning ying." Ying, who was just yawning a second ago, suddenly popped out right in front of her.

"Yaya, are you okay? Did something happen? Who did it?!? I'll teach them a lesson!" Ying exclaimed with worry written all over her face.

Yaya who paused for a minute contemplating what ying just asked her suddenly looked teary,

"I'll tell you later.... But get ready first, I'll tell you at breakfast."Yaya wiped her eyes before tears could spill out.

Ying looked worriedly at her friend but nonetheless nodded.

It was currently breakfast and Yaya didn't know how to start.

"Well, basically- uhm... I confessed."

With that, ying spit water from her mouth and had her jaw on the floor.

"And then what?"

"He rejected me?" Yaya says thinking of how she could've put it in another way since that made him sound harsh.

"Augh! Where is he now?!? Let me at him, I'll teach him a lesson!" Ying who's now currently in a fighting stance exclaimed with confidence.

Yaya giggled at her friend's antics and quickly explained.

"Thanks but no, if I was in his position I wouldn't want to force myself to like a person I can never see as anything more than a friend. I wouldn't want to break their heart more by telling them I had just pretended."

Yaya frowned at the thought of anyone she only sees as a friend confessing to her.

"Plus It's not that part that made my heart ache, it's the way he looked at me with guilt." She smiled despite the pain.

"And, I like him the way he is, the way he's honest." Now giving her friend a look of confidence, "Whether my feelings get stronger or weaker, I'll have to learn to embrace it, but I do kinda hope it gets weaker." She smiled sheepishly at her friend.

Her friend, in return smiled back, though that doesn't mean she's relieved.

"Are you sure things won't be awkward between you two though?"

"Oh it definitely will, but it's not like I'll let my confession ruin our friendship. I'll just move on slowly and before you know it, baam! No more feelings and everything's back to normal." She really did wish it was that easy.

"Right," Ying skeptically looked at her friend and as she was about to say something another voice interrupted her.

"Hey Yaya! Ying!" And almost immediately Gopal came into view with Boboiboy right behind him.

"Hey Gopal, hey Boboiboy. Good morning!" Both Ying and Yaya replied with fake enthusiasm.

"Hey! Do you know what happened to boboiboy? He looks like a ghost!"
Ying whispered hoping boboiboy wouldn't hear her.

"Hm, beats me, I tried asking but all he said was that he didn't get enough sleep."

"Hey, you guys know that I can hear you, right?" Boboiboy in return just deadpanned at his friends.

"Ehheheh..." Gopal laughed sheepishly.

"Eh? What happened to Yaya? Why does her eyes look red? She looks like she just ate her own cookies!"
