She imitated Bondita and laughed on her own. Anirudh also couldn't stop himself but laughed seeing her smiling face.

She added..."Bondita is like a chirpy birds. always dreamt to fly. She would always run after the world and loved to sprinkle confetti of peace and happiness all around and I loved to run after her. Just like the sun and sunflower,.....I wasn't not that aspirants neither as brave as her. But she is prowess like Maa Durga at the same time her heart is filled with innocence just like a child" Binitha lost herself in the memories of Bondita and her. a ghost of smile lingered on her lips while describing about her dear friend. Anirudh was just listening her keenly.

"You know she wants to bring changes in the society and that's why wanted to become a Bar.........."Anirudh felt her put a full stop in the middle of the sentence leaving it incomplete. she was in a trance and with the flow she was to say something that might be wasn't supposed to.

Anirudh gazed at Binitha being confounded. she roamed her eyes aimlessly in nervousness. smiling in hesitation she voiced..

"Ani..please go and look for her"

But instead he asked..

"Binitha,are you hiding somthing from me? somthing that I should know..?"

"Wh...why would I hide anything from you...? nothing... Anirudh, don't you believe me?"

Anirudh frowned at her statment. He had asked a her a question but instead of answering she's questioning his immense faith in her.

"Bini,you know I believe you more than myself....okay.....don't worry love. I promise you, I will find Bondita as soon as possible and bring her to you. and as your wish she will be the first one to held our baby. Happy...?"

Binitha nodded delightedly and hugged him. he also reciprocated pressing a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Okay...yeah sir...yeah I understand....I will inform you.just let me follow up the matter.......ofcourse...I will be very grateful for your guidance. Thank you so much sir"

Anirudh, speaking respectfully kept the receiver. He was busy pondering over somthing that's when Bihari's voice broke his trance. upon enquiring the reason for his intervention Bihari replied timidly..

"Wo Malik koi apse koi Milne aaya hai(Someone has come to meet you,Malik)"and left hurriedly in fear of getting scolded by his Barrister Babu who was looking so disturbed.

"What the hell are you talking?how can it impossible.....a girl, living in this patriarchal society has become a Barrister...that too first female gold medalist Barrister of whole bengal but now is missing..she didn't even received her degree. there's no single trace to know about her and you want me to let go this matter unseen!!are you suffering from mental instability or what...!!go fast and do investigation. And yes...keep me updated. Got it?"

Anirudh screamed on top of his voice being frustrated. Two assistant of his gulped in fear seeing their agitated senior Barrister. Although it wasn't all new to them. they knew their voice would pour more fuel in the fire he was burning thus without uttering a word they handed over the files like robot and left the place hastily.
Ofcourse, their lives were dear to them.

Binitha,who had witnessed all these standing behind the door was getting more tensed and fear engulfed her heart. But She wasn't enough courageous to tell what was in her mind and think about the possible consequences. So just prayed to Dugga maa for her friend's safety.

One fine night,
Anirudh returned from court late at night bein all exhausted because of all day continues workload. But the commotion inside of his house didn't let him to take a breath of relief. fear gripped his heart observing the crowd outside of his room. All worried. Kaka was banging on the door screaming Binitha's name.He instantly rushed to them and upon asking about the matter Kaka told him that Binitha went to Kalkatta in search of Bondita but ever since she returned home from Kalkatta started behaving strangely. throwing things all around.hurting herself. worried Anirudh screamed calling out her name. Pleaded her to open the door but all was futile.

Finally, being at the edge of his patience Anirudh broke the door. the scene inside made him shiver in horror. All the chattels of the room was scattered messily over there. drops of blood was on the floor around her. where she was laying over her knees curling up like a turtle, breathing heavily as she wasn't provided even the minimum air for respiration.

"Binithaaaa....."

Anirudh sprinted to Binitha in air speed. as he pulled up her feeble body she gave up and fell on the floor.laying on her back. whole body started trembling uncontrollably. In shorts of breathing she threw her hands and legs in the air aimlessly. This sight made him shiver to the core. He was unable to think of anything just without calling her name. when her lips were just letting out one name "Bondita"inbetween heavy breaths and hiccups.

Meanwhile Doctor arrived as informed by Binoy and started her therapy. Anirudh was pacing to and fro in anxiety. By each passing second restlessness of his heart increased more remembering Binitha.

As soon as Doctor came out of Binitha's room all of them surrounded him asking about the matter hoping to get a positive answer. After when it felt like a eternity doctor replied..

"Binitha ji is suffering from asthenia"

"Is this any dengerous disease Dactar Sahab?" Trilochan asked hastily,in a scary tone.

Doctor nodded negatively before speaking..

"No, asthenia is not any particular disease but there is Obviously danger here. it's extreme debility. Because of chronic stress. prolonged exposure of stress makes our body fatigue. then slowly we face headache, blurred vision,lack vitality, difficulty in speaking, breathing problem..as we have found in Binitha's case. She might have been unsettled and worried for something for the past few months. that made her less care about her health"

"Yess Dactar Sahab. A girl named Bondita, Bahu's dear friend. She's missing for a year. And that's why Bahu was...."Trilochan spoke slowly. Doctor shoked his head in comprehension.

"Yeah that's what I'm saying. She was over stressed regardless of her condition. and then pregnancy worsened it. I think she is near to her........."

"Yess, it's..her..it's running nine months" doctor was interrupted by Anirudh. he answer was as quick as passing air.

"It's way too critical time. During delivery every woman must have to be physically as well as mentally prepared to pass the phase but as per my inspection,Binitha isn't that cooperative neither by physically nor mentally. if it goes like this,at the end of the day both..mother and baby can be in danger. even it may lead to death..... however,use recommended medications on time and take good care of her"

At this Doctor left. everyone was shattered getting the unexpected news. Anirudh's world went upside down. The word "Death" echoed in his ears making his whole body gave up on his weight. falling onto the floor he shoked his head vigorously like that's a nightmare and he wanted to wake up from it as soon as possible and forget it. seeing his condition everyone's eyes brimmed in tears. Trilochan came to him. Placed his hand on his head. He stopped shaking. it's wasn't a nightmare,he realised and Looked at his Kaka like a lost child.unable to control Kaka hugged him and whispered some soothing words in condolence.

After lots of struggle, gathering minimum courage he headed towards her room. with a thuding heart he stepped in the room. and here she was.....his eyes stopped her laying figure on the bed. Her bright face went pale. So was her body. With much difficulty he placed his shivering hand on her nine months baby bump over the saaree. A drop of tear trailed down through his cheek. he pressed lips together not to let out a cry. unable to forming a word he was to leave but stopped feeling a tug on his wrist. Smiling through teary eyes he turned to her....in anticipation but what he had heard from her mouth boiled his blood.....

"Bondita......."
